What's up Homewood? Yo, where are all your people at?
Dog, I'm up in your buildings taking sub par pictures, forcing me to compensate by overprocessing and writing kitschy blurbs, but where are all the people? And what's up with your BBQ joint and your bank-y building?
What's the deal Homewood?
This started out HDR. I overprocessed a bit now ot is more of a digital painting. This was taken at Joshua Tree Lake!
Client used Black Box Color Several Times:This left her Hair UnEven, OverProcessed, Dry & Damaged w/Breakage. Used @Olaplex with the @Pravana Color Extracting System 3x to pull the Black, Over Stained Color out, Then Proceeded Using Olaplex in schwarzkopf Royal 5-88, 6-99 &89 W/30 Volume . To complete the service gave her an intense glossing Repair Treatment and this was the result. It was sooooo super Soft & Shiny

I can always count on my little man to give me a good belly laugh. He often sits like this, gazing off into the ethers, pondering whatever cats ponder. Then he gets tired, and starts to nod off, his little head bobs up and down, and yet he stays in this upright position. At some point he falls into a sleep, and topples over. This time he fell whisker over tailtip, right off the end of the sofa and right on top of sleeping Annie. They are both expressing their displeasure over this unfortunate event by growling and snarling at each other. However I do feel that Puff is being rather ungrateful towards Annie, after all she did break his fall.
Probably this picture is overprocessed. But when I took it and saw the colour of the sky, I found it way too nice to be a cemetery shot. and anyway I wanted colours. I changed a little bit the tones and the contrast, and that's what came out. Now it looks a bit darker, as I feel a cemetery is, but the sky still looks blue.
It's a little easier to get down on your belly in an otherwise public place at 6:54 AM. Wow, this looked a little better before uploading. A case of a little overprocessing, I think. But I'm not redoing it.....
#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.
Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

Animals can suffer and feel pain. They need greater protection worldwide. We are seeking this in the form of a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW) at the United Nations.

Hurts the eyes I know, but it came out of the camera a really funny colour so I had to work on it a bit
Yes!! Finally a picture of something other than myself! Hah... this is kinda over processed... (or is that over-edited?)
That's my brother in the background.
A few days ago I got just about 10 minutes (30 second exposures) of the Pinwheel galaxy from bortle 3-4 in Gran Canaria, so I decided I will stack it with the photos from last year (those are from bortle 4 too). I stacked them in DSS for total exposure time of slightly over 20 minutes. After a few hours in photoshop (yes, i got really slow in astro edting) this is what came out. Not everybody will like it, maybe its a bit overprocessed, but personally I like it, and hope that so do you. Clear skies!
I went in to two different salons today, and neither did a perm. Finally I ended up at Fantastic Sam's, which did indeed do perms. But the stylist really didn't want to do a perm on me, as (according to her) my hair was overprocessed. I disagree, but I was sick of my perm anyhow. So she just trimmed my hair, blew out my hair, and styled it. Let's hope I can reconstruct it tomorrow, though I have my doubts.

A combination of 10x20 second images stacked with MaxDSLR. Then levels and curves adjusted in Photoshop.
This was an attempt to image the Flame and Horsehead nebulae, however as you can see, I did not expose enough. With a lot of overprocessing, I was able to see a hint of the Flame nebula next to Alnitak.
Okay, this may be a little over-processed, but besides sharpening and clarity, all I did was vibrance and saturation. Oh, and I added the vignette cause I thought it looked cool. The lake was so blue yesterday; it was so beautiful. This is Foster Lake, by the way.
Crap! I just realized how dirty that lens was. Oh well, I'll fix it later. Thank God for clone stamp. :)

"we're in this together now" :
I've become impossible
holding on to when
when everything seemed to matter more
the two of us
all used and beaten up
watching fate as it flows down the path we
have chose
you and me
we're in this together now
none of them can stop us now
we will make it through somehow
you and me
if the world should break in two
until the very end of me
until the very end of you

This was actually an out of focus shot that I wanted to use... I thought the over-processing added something to it and made it look a little better...
You know those vinyl mesh bags that you get fruit in at the grocery store. Well, that mesh is strong enough to hold all that fruit and it's not biodegradable, so why throw it away.
I've combined that nylon mesh from fruit bags with durable cotton yarn to make my new BYO Fruit Bag. In this time of overprocessed convenience food, one of the healthiest things you can do is make sure you have good for you snacks handy. The best snacking food in the world is fresh fruit. Let this bag help you get in the habit of taking fresh fruit with you to the office or school.
It can hold up to 5 lbs of fruit, or whatever healthy snacks/lunch that you put in it. And when it's empty, it collapses into itself for easy storage.
This bag will help you improve your health and maintain a healthy envitronment.

At a gig in one of the South Liverpool Parks - could either have been Africa Oye in Sefton park or the Brouhaha Mela in Princes Park, I forget now. Taking pictures of the band, turned round to get some shots of the crowd and saw this girl. I used the pic to try out some photoshop techniques so it looks slightly overprocessed, but it's what I'd call a lucky shot.
Here is a favorite, simple snack or appetizer of mine: fresh, thickly sliced tomatoes and torn basil leaves with just a hint of pepper and kosher salt. I try to fit in at least one raw fruit or vegetable somewhere in the day for healthy digestion. Many enzymes, acids and vitamins are denatured during cooking (though, it goes both ways with tomatoes), especially in an age where our zeal to eliminate any and all microbes or bacteria often results in overcooking or overprocessing much of our food. Admittedly, the majority my fruit/vegetable servings for the day often come from V8 or microwaved frozen veggies.
Then again, there are many nutrients that can only be efficiently captured when we do cook our food. To cook or not to cook? It might depend on the target protein or vitamin. I actually came across a short, mostly fluff article on the subject: www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/raw-vs-cooked
This lead me to think about those foods that get popularized by specialty diets, new studies and fads, which, in turn, often change what we view as “healthy.” Here’s another article that displays the dichotomy between what foods the public believes are healthy versus what nutritionists say are healthy:
