In the heart of South Central Los Angeles there lies a photographers oasis. This was from a pre-dawn Sunday morning. I feel something is missing though. It needs a model or a subject. Next time, I should jump in the frame. I always say I need to do that more often. Maybe that can be my resolution for New Years. Maybe.
An inattentive truck driver with a load too high, crashed it into this overpass in Oklahoma City. No one was hurt, well maybe the truck drivers pride took a hit.

An overpass shot from the Elbow Lake Sub in April 2010. Two CP SD40-2s are leading a short 496 train toward Glenwood. The large pipe loads were a regular fixture on these trains for a while.

US Sugar’s Fort Pierce Turn today would pass around its normal time of 11AM by the Fort Pierce area to interchange with the Florida East Coast Railway. The power would be USSC SD40-2 6321 & USSC SD40-2 6323. The train would go in the yard and back out around 2PM after waiting for FEC 103 to finish switching.

You can see the freeway overpass in the background with the morning dawn just beginning to glow.
