My first time at this bicycle overpass over 101, at 18th St. and San Bruno Ave. There's a nice hole in the fence to shoot through, and no vibrations from passing traffic.
As usual, the headlights and taillights are separate stacks (6 images each, using a 3-stop ND for the headlights), and the skyline is a 2 exposure HDR.

Tuesday morning I cycled a 25km loop to Craigflower Manor House and return.
Ostensibly, the ride was to deliver an Irvine Family book to one Jim Maxwell.
From here — for the first time — I used the Admirals Road bike lanes. Victoria's cycle network improves every year and more and more I can leave the vehicles at home and take my bike.
This iconic image is of the Manhattan Bridge Overpass as seen from Washington Street in the Dumbo ("Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass") neighborhood of Brooklyn, which is one of the most frequently visited photo sites in New York City. I didn't take this particular photograph, the original of which is in color. Using various digital imaging software programs such as Topaz Sharpen, Snapseed, and Photomatix, I generated the black and white image shown above.

During my 2 months stay in Singapore, I lived on Compassvale Drive in Sengkang. Every day, I would pass by this place, which is connected to the metro station. I would cross the overpass, walk down those stairs on the other side, and keep walking into the image space.
As an aside, noting the EXIF information, I got this shot on my 31st birthday.

The Basarab Overpass (Romanian: Pasajul Basarab) is a road overpass in Bucharest, Romania, part of Bucharest's inner city ring, designed by engineer Javier Manterola.
It has a length of 1.9 km (1.2 mi) and is the widest cable stayed bridge in Europe, measuring a width of 44.5 m (146 ft). I has a tram station, safety areas and two lanes for traffic in each direction over the railways near the Gara de Nord train station (the average width measures almost 25 m).
The two towers that sustain the 60 cables of the bridge have a height of about 84 m (276 ft). The overpass was opened in June 2011 at a cost of almost 255 million euros. Every day, almost 50,000 vehicles cross the bridge. (Wikipedia)
The Legacy Trail is a 10.8 mile rails to trail bike trail between Sarasota and Venice Florida.
Thank you for the inquiries about the storm in our area. We made it through with just some high water and wind, but no damage to property. Also managed an extra day and a half off for the weekend!

There are plenty of areas right in the western centre of Berlin where you can see the car friendly architecture of the past decades. Being a necessarity for a major city or not, this look upwards is much more often reality to the people living in it than the view over Alexanderplatz or Kurfürstendamm.
