A pedestrian bridge over car traffic on campus. It had to get rebuilt a number of years a go when a truck, that was just a little to hight, got stuck under it.

Captured with iPhone and Hipstamatic Oggl, with Florence and Black Keys Extra Fine, further enhanced on iPad in PhotoForge, for Window Wednesdays.

I took this after listening to a lot of Warp stuff. The album covers from their "Influences" and "Classics" collections are all taken in Leeds, mostly up by the concrete section of the University, but also around the Woodhouse Lane car park. This is from nowhere near there, but has a similar feel methinks.

And this is from the best Warp album of the last year, which no civilised home should be without--> www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpGp-22t0lU

If you've ever thought about buying neutral density filters to try long exposures, please do. They can be fun and also help you make creative photos.

120 sec exposure sure smoothes the water out!

A small departure from reality can really add to an otherwise drab photo. Like when you use a telephoto lens to compress a scene and isolate a subject. I wish people used long telephotos for portraiture, for instance. Using a "normal" lens to shoot portraits allows too many distractions into the scene.

Light is beauty. I want to capture it, to show the world the wonderful things that can be seen even in the simplest things. Sometimes I succeed and other times I fail but i thank you all for taking the time to look.

Kodak Ektar 100 film.

This is a 5 exposure HDR plus a shot exposed just for the stars. Like some of the other night shots from this outing I took a shot exposed just for the stars and made some levels adjustments in CS5. I processed the HDR and then masked in the stars shot for the finished photo. This is my brother in law(flickr member leppard717) taking some light trail shots from the Belvedere in Louisville. You can see the second street bridge and the new KFC Yum Center peeking out from behind the other buildings.

A great summer afternoon for sunlight in Central Victoria!

The "HANNA" has motorists all pissed-off as they shove across routes 5&12 with three boxes for a warehouse in New Hartford, NY. A young lady I encountered yesterday (10/25) at a nearby crossing called the NYS&W "HANNA", first time I've heard that one. Sounds good to me!

This little sticker corner has been around for many years. It seems to be curated by someone.

Thought this pic would be a good candidate for the cinematic treatment.
