Another overpass on the Elbow Lake Sub, another nice spring morning in April 2010, and another eastbound train 496. This time, SOO 6025 is leading the way, working around the curve and up the grade east of Barrett.
a few months ago when we were driving home at dusk, I noticed that Miss Baker was viewable from this specific overpass, but at that time the light was not right. I said to Ross that maybe one day we would cross over it at the exact right time ... and last night it happened ... and I almost missed it. I must have been off in LaLa land, not looking outside as we drove, when suddenly Ross nudges me to notice the view. And I had to get my shoes on and grab my camera from the back seat and I practically fell out the door as I knew that this light lasts mere seconds ... and I snapped away ...
and then it was gone ... Poof !!
so I have my sweetie to thank for this shot :)

A fence is set up around right and left of the passage here because it is the top of the track. Their position is just suitable for photography most.

ここは線路の上なので、通路の左右にはフェンスが張り巡らされています。 ちょうど彼らの位置がもっとも撮影に適しています。
