Overlapping anvils- the taller anvil on the left belongs to an impressive tornadic supercell located just south of Fort Worth. The shorter anvil on the right is from the tail end of a developing squall line moving into Tarrant County near Eagle Mountain Lake.

This picture shows overlapping because the chairs are stacked, this effect makes overlapping.

I love what these shadows and highlights are doing in combination with the surfaces on which they happen.

Order and chaos. Geometric and organic. Fabricated and natural. Light and dark. Reflector and reflection.... I have just recently noticed that the focal point of this one (in the belly of the human form) is created by two intersecting triangles; one coming down from the reflection of the trees and the other pointing upward formed by the arms connecting at the head. It is the Merkabha oozing out from every crack and crevice...

Another overlapping set of shots out of my R3A. Happens about once every 200 photos.

What I saw from my office window this morning....(so I opened the window and storm window, leaned out, and was able to get a clearer shot than through 2 extra pieces of glass)
