Collecting firewood is one of my all time favourite things to do. There's a shortage of trees on Vatersay, however, so sea weed roots and driftwood had to do!

A holiday added onto the end of a work visit allowed us to visit Callanais Stones, Arnol Blackhouses and Gearannan Blackhouse Village. Returning on the ferry from Tarbert also gave us chance to visit the Isle of Harris Distillery - quite impressive all round trip!
