We spent a few days at the Outer Banks (Corolla, to be more specific).

Collecting firewood is one of my all time favourite things to do. There's a shortage of trees on Vatersay, however, so sea weed roots and driftwood had to do!
Well, I'm finally back. It's funny how life changes your plans. I took 60 GB of compactflash cards with me hoping to fill every bit of it. Instead, not much happened photographically. But it was great to see my family, and it's good to be back also. There is nothing better than sleeping on your own bed!!
A holiday added onto the end of a work visit allowed us to visit Callanais Stones, Arnol Blackhouses and Gearannan Blackhouse Village. Returning on the ferry from Tarbert also gave us chance to visit the Isle of Harris Distillery - quite impressive all round trip!
