I passed this accident today on the Outer Ring Road. It was rainy and windy as hell and I almost hydroplaned off the road a few times, and then saw this. What a nerve wracking drive.

I read somewhere that the newest version of View NX has some new controls and it seemed like maybe it was approaching usable, so I installed it and processed this picture and guess what...it does have more control than the last time I tried View NX (when it came with my D60), and the quality you get with it is good. I find the Nikon raw files look best when processed in Capture NX, and View NX seems to be able to deliver equal quality, unless you need the controls of Capture NX to get it. Unfortunately, View NX is still slow and buggy and annoying to use (And Capture is not much better). But at least this new version actually does function to the point that I won't uninstall it immediately, like the last time I tried View NX. It still sucks though.

so this is my shot with the UWA. Just to give you impression of how big it is, its 2 stories high window...the tank itself is hard to gauge, but probably twice that. Theres an upper balcony. You stand in front of these huge piece of glass and just marvel at what swims by.

The glass is probably something like 30 metres wide, its just an immense panorama of sea life.

We spent a few days at the Outer Banks (Corolla, to be more specific).
