I was sorta outta it

We spent a few days at the Outer Banks (Corolla, to be more specific).

We ate dinner at a pizza place called "Cosmos Pizza".

So... this morning the moon stood extremely clear on the sky. i just had to stop and take a few shots, this one came out allright i think. only some cropping, and a a light contrast and brightness added. EF-400 mm F5.6L usm with tripod mounted on my EOS 50D. Enjoy!

Great start to the day!

This is on Outer Cove Beach, just down the road/hill/cliff from my house. Huge schools of tiny fish called caplin would swim ashore each spring (?) to spawn, and people would go down to catch them. As you can see, it wasnt really hard to do. They'd just beach themselves. Note the awesome 80's clothing, my shorts and shoes in particular.
