Miss Kitty is staring at a Killdeer family running around on the neighbor's field but knows she is not to go off our property!! RIGHT!!! She is the most beautiful, loving kitty and came to us as a stray about 3 years ago.

I noticed a little tag on the stuffed cat the other day and saw her name was Marlene. She was a gift from a friend several years ago and I just saw that she has a name. Thank you for taking time from your busy day to view, fave and comment on my images. It is always appreciated!

Ray is a master of meditation and will sit in the garden for hours 'in the zone'.

We have a public holiday on Monday and, what do you know, the sun is going to shine. Yeah!! After a waterlogged May we could sure use a bit of warmth and blue skies. It is also half term next week and as we are still in a state of not being able to holiday overseas, without great difficulties, it will mean lots of tourists in our lovely Forest from this evening onwards. We will probably go out early tomorrow morning for a quick walk but then stay at home in the garden for the rest of the weekend to avoid all the tourists. However, we will be tourists ourselves the week after next as we are going up to Northumbria for a week away. We enjoyed it so much last year we have booked the same cottage on the farm which is only 5 minutes across the road from the beach. (see photo below)

Happy Furry Friday everyone

Wishing you all a happy and relaxing weekend

We got a few shots of us spending some special time together today...

Muffy and Micky two loving brothers

Ray is starving - you see we never feed the poor boy *wink*

It is so hot and humid here at the moment. I do an aqua class on a Wednesday morning and it was bliss. Wish I could have stayed there all day: instead we have all the curtains closed and have stayed indoors

So I missed Ginger Cat Appreciation Day (yesterday) but every day is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day around here.

Trying to take a nap.

I have been back at home for a couple of days now after my surgery. Firstly, the brilliant news is that they managed to take away the diseased bowel without the need of a stoma. My stomach looks like it has a zip with around 30 staples in it. It all went well and I am looking forward to a full recovery. I will catch up with you slowly as I still do not have that much energy. But as it is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, I felt it a good opportunity to drop by

Someone's watching you...

This is pure Obby....the look that can interrupt reading or eating or watching to get attention. lol It makes me smile.

A cute ginger cat stands on a garden fence and watches snowflakes whirl around him.

Elsie usually disappears in the cat cave for hours, but tonight she wanted to keep an eye on what was happening in the kitchen.

Passed away early in the morning. A most affectionate cat!

Cat-scape? Wide angle lenses aren't just for landscapes.

Joey usually doesn't watch the TV, but the big birds on the screen must have been attracted his attention.

Pet-sitting adventures with handsome Mr. Marble.

Do people still have their colors done, or has that sweet fad vanished from the cultural landscape? Or are we all now focused instead on other things, such as the search for just the right combination of micronutrients to make us leaner, smarter, and more mindful?

Anyway, if Elsie had her colors done, she'd be an autumn.

I didn't know it, but for Elsie today is Cat's Day Off, so I had to get ready for the day all by myself.

Maybe more so for my food? 😄😻 A neighborhood cat.
