Obby found a ray of sun coming through one window on this freezing cold day! I had been trying to get a full on face with catch lights in his eyes, but he wouldn't look at me. So I just sat there and waited...and then I got his whiskers! lol
April 2017 I'm not sure how to post this from an already posted photo in my photo stream. This is one of my favorites of Obby!
We still have high temperatures during the day and the nights are so humid: we are all melting, especially the cats. Ray didn't even make it downstairs this morning: he just 'collapsed' at the top of the stairs
Benji frequently jumps to the table and lands on the book I'm reading (in this case appropriately "The Fur Person" by May Sarton.)
Thank you so much for viewing my photography, faveing my photos, following me and for your comments. It is very much appreciated.

Another shot from the feral colony in the Forest.
We are hoping to visit Charlotte and the girls on Sunday. We were meant to go a few weeks ago but I was not well enough. We haven't seen them since August, so we are very excited.
We have a real cold wind blowing down from the North so all the cats are staying indoors at the moment
Happy Furry Friday everyone
Wishing you a happy, cosy and healthy weekend
This is just before he went to bed for the day. Same routine every day: he has his breakfast and then upstairs to sleep on our bed.
It is turning colder every day but then it is winter
Happy Furry Friday.
Ray decided to camp out in his makeshift bubblewrap tent . The cats have been queuing up to use this polystyrene box for an afternoon nap.
All the cats have been snuggling down during this cold spell. Apparently we have a storm passing our way on Sunday so we will all be hunkering down.
Happy Furry Friday
Wishing you all a safe and cosy weekend
During the heatwave Ray has spent his time in his 'summer house' which is an extension to his winter residence:-) This is airier and is covered in clematis The temperatures have now dropped but our homes are retaining the heat somewhat so it will take a while to get back to 'normal'. We are forecast rain today and I can't wait.
Phill and I are going to the cinema today. I read Where The Crawdads Sing and loved the book so I want to see what the scenery looks like in reality. It is set in North Carolina in the marshes. I used to love going to the cinema as a youngster and would go every week. But the last time we went was 2009 to see Avatar - lol. I cannot stand the noise of others chatting and rustling their sweets. See how grumpy I have become. Anyway, I found out that you get discount for seniors and also we are going to the matinee performance so, hopefully, there will be less people there to annoy me - ha ha ha.
Happy Furry Friday everyone.
Wishing you a weekend of calm
This was taken a few days ago when we had some blue skies and sunshine. We were at a friends' funeral yesterday and it was so cold and rainy, we all had coats on. Although it was sad to say goodbye to him, the actual funeral itself was so uplifting. It was a non religious service taken by a celebrant which is what I intend to have when the time comes
Ray trying to enjoy the one day of sun we have had recently and me spoiling the moment with my camera. You can see in the comments below how blissful he was
