PARADISE
by Shay Segev
Please take my advice,
Let's do something nice,
Fill our love with spice -
Let's go to paradise
We'll have a lot of fun,
Lying in the sun,
Grabbing the sand,
Feeling like one
Chorus
Oh dear, Can you hear?
Paradise really is here
If we call it, loud and clear,
I promise, It will appear!
Let's take a break from all the rush
In the water jump and splash,
My whispers will make you blush,
It's so exciting, oh my gosh!
Oh my dear, If you'd agree,
We'll have a picnic under the tree
I'll ask you to marry me
Can you believe that it could be?
Chorus - Oh dear, Can you hear?....
I'd like that it would last forever
Just you and me, all together
But even if for a little while,
Let me know that you are mine
Oh baby, please don't cry
Because I know, and you can't deny,
Our love will never die,
So cheer up and give me a big smile!
Chorus - Oh dear, Can you hear?....
And even if you will resist
Over and over I will consist
That paradise truly exists
It's not a dream or myst
In the meantime, take my hand
Close your eyes, see the dreamland
As more detailed the dream is drew
This quickly we'll force it, to come true!
Chorus - Oh dear, Can you hear?....
Niantic's Book Barn spills out of the barn, into five or more outbuildings, and then into two downtown locations, too. I do not recall which location this was. But it's definitely in Niantic, Connecticut.
ONE DRUM, ONE MISSION
Cardio Drumming is the most fun I've ever seen people having while working out at an exercise class! And THAT is why they come back, and what makes this so popular in Detroit.
Everybody is an instant rock star, whether or not they have any actual musical ability.
This is an activity that automatically adjusts itself to the ability level of any participant. Mild or wild, it's up to you...but the harder you hit the ball the more exercise you're getting.
You can't stand? No problem, we'll bring you a chair. If you are breathing, you're in!
The yellow rose can indicate strength and are encouraging for someone going through a difficult time such as when healing from illness or surgery. This one was photographed at the end of a session, so not with a particular intentionat this point, but I see this one as hope against adversity. The strength and optimism of the yellow/orange rose fighting its way forward and not giving up.

These poor daffodils. So keen to see the sunlight. Mild weather happens most of winter before unexpected snow buggers up their plans. Oh well

People Who Wear Rose-Colored Glasses See More, Study Shows
June 6, 2009 — A University of Toronto study provides the first direct evidence that our mood literally changes the way our visual system filters our perceptual experience suggesting that seeing the world through rose-coloured glasses is more biological reality than metaphor.
“Good and bad moods literally change the way our visual cortex operates and how we see,”…
