Yellow is considered to be an optimistic colour, so I chose a yellow tulip for today's post. Optimism is a wonderful feeling to have, any day of the week!

I found three of the four Barred Owlets born this Spring, they were flying around chasing squirrels practicing their hunting skills, then landing relatively low in the trees to watch for unsuspecting prey. It was nice to see they are thriving and doing well.

The future is so bright you might need sunglasses! Maybe not the best title but it was the only thing I came up with. I wanted to post a more uplifting image then my last one. This I think isn't really my style per say (if I even have one) but I like the bright colors and the mix of blue and yellow. And I am still capable of being happy there are days when we all feel a little wilted and down.

This is a close-up of some panes of stained glass photographed from the exterior of the catholic church in Hampton Hill. Additional colours came from the stained glass windows on the other side of the building which were lit by the sun and, in turn, backlit this pane.
Optimism & spring is in the air for many while others still have trepidation as Lockdown has been released in England.
