Taken at the start of the womens tour 2014 in Oundle, Unfortunatley (or fortunatly dependant of your view point) I got stuck in a traffic jam due to the rolling road closures for 20min, so took the oppurtunity to grab the camera and get some shots as they passed by
Whilst junior was body boarding took the oppurtunity to get some shots of the pretty little village of Seneen about a mile from Lands End

Harvest Sessions is presented by KDHX Community Media, The Whitaker Foundation and Tower Grove Farmers' Market and takes place every Saturday at the West Pool Pavilion in Tower Grove Park for the duration of Tower Grove Farmers' Market's regular season. Tom Hall has been performing for over twenty years and has won national and local acclaim for his exceptional blues guitar work. Harvest Sessions is free and open to the public.

Meet Amy who is married to my eldest Son David
Amy want to be a photographer and David bought her a 350D for Xmas. I past over my books and got them down this weekend so she could have a lesson on using the camera manually.
Also took the oppurtunity to try some off camera flash shots.
This had a flash to the right and one to the rear/left creating a sun effect.

the city has lots of old buildings and streets and the weather was great to walk around.
In the park behind the station there where a few people feeding the ducks and swans, I took the oppurtunity to get up close and personal with one of them.
so, my mom has this awesome blue mug that i love to take pictures of. i was beginning to look at flickr while enjoying my morning cup o' coffee (slept at my parents last night), and i took the oppurtunity to take pictures in the glorious morning light. look at the accidental bokeh!

This male Sparrowhawk perched up in the Prunus Niger at the back of our garden for 10 - 15 mins for a rest and a preen. I t was a great photo oppurtunity but a couldn't open a window and risk driving him away, so had to snap my pics through double glazing.
Lambing Sunday takes place in March of each year at Manor Farm near Peterborough. This an oppurtunity for the public to see a working farm and see lambs being born. This farm has around 250 lambs each year and was recently featured on the BBC TV programme The Politics Show.
The yellow lamb on the left if a few minutes old. The lamb on the right is about 20 minutes old.
Alicia & I jumped on the oppurtunity to have a one-on-one encounter with two tiger cubs at the Wildlife Reserve in St Augustine. It was awesome. We can now scratch that off the "bucket list".

When I walked into Howe Park Wood earlier, I noticed this Muntjac hiding behind some Bluebells (Not many left now) and took a couple of clips of it before it got up and disappeared into the bushes when it thought I was too close.
It might not be an amazing clip, but I was so happy to see and record one as the last time I did was last year. I also missed an oppurtunity to film one in the Winter as it walked across a path in the middle of the woods. :-)

So often you wander around with your camera and the photo oppurtunities just don't arise. At other times, the best photos get missed because you've put your camera down for the first time in about three weeks. As chance would have it, this seal wriggeld his way in just as I's attached my 200mm lens ;-)
Zuri wasn't feeling good and I took the oppurtunity to take photos of her while she didn't move a lot.

Best Buddies Friendship Ball 2010 Roaring Twenties at the beautiful Dubsdread Country Club. The mission of Buddies is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates oppurtunities for one-to one freindships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
An annual highlight of Florida's programs it is a favorite for many of the participants. This dance is a prom-like event that is put on by the staff every spring in all five Best Buddies Florida cities for the high school and college programs.
Its been a busy day, alot of running around for other people, so when I had the oppurtunity to get out for half an hour I grabbed it with both hands. I took a lovely walk around Devils point with my camera.
When I got out of the car I saw a row of seagulls on a fence, I really wanted to take a photo of them but when I went to get it the birds had gone so I had to settle for this fella.

This is my home, the city of Plymouth and I LOVE it. Even though we are close to the sea it isnt a seaside resort but then we arent far away from seaside towns. We are close to alot of beaches, beauty spots, just over the bridge from Cornwall. I cant imagine living anywhere else.

I am making this amazing Quilt for my Hubby fo his home coming present! Its using Kaffe Fassett Fabrics and they are just stunning! I am really excited about starting it! I know it sounds like a unusual gifl but its so Him and I! I have been wanting to make something for ages so I thought this would be the perfect oppurtunity to do something amazing. Stay Tuned!!

this piture was taken at ocean shores during a family gathering, it was very cold but the lighting was really great i found that as the most giving oppurtunity to take a really nice picture, the photo is very well balanced and the quality is clear making the photo very focused. the clouds in the backround give the photo more depth and really makes the picture come alive. the picture is not crowded and the different parts of the picture with all thedifferent colors and shapes really brings in a more abstarct value to the picture.
I really like this one only because of the color. It was such a nice, sunny day, maybe the last oppurtunity to take photos in good wheather until next spring. This flower seemed so sunny and made me feel quite optimistic all of a sudden :D
