Ms. Suzy had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell. Ms. Suzy went to heaven, but the steamboat went to hell-o operator, give me number nine, if you disconnect me, I'll chop off your behind the 'frigerator, there sat a piece of glass. Ms. Suzy sat about it and broke her little - ask me no more questions, tell me no more lies, the boys are in the bathroom, zipping up their - flies are in the meadow, bees are in the park. My sister and her boyfriend are kissing in the D-A-R-K, D-A-R-K, dark, dark, dark. The dark is to a movie, a movie's to a show, a show is to a T.V., and that is all I know. I know I know my ma, I know I know my pa, I know I know my sister, with the eighty-acre bra. My mother is Godzilla, my father is King Kong, and my brother is the stupid one who made up this dumb song.

In the back corner is the operator's stand. Lego even added a pair of levers to the control switch of the battery box. One is a functional grey beam coming under the stairs to make controlling the ride easier for the real people. The second is the rods coming up for the minifig operator to control. Such a nice touch. And of course, all the mechanical bits have to be behind a fence to keep the kiddies safe.

Imagine not being able to step outside your door because there is no solid ground beyond your simple wooden house. Imagine having to do everything – laundry, gardening, shopping, visiting, everything – from a boat. Imagine having to paddle or row everywhere. Imagine not being able to go for a walk or a run.

That is life on Inle Lake in the heart of the Shan State, Myanmar. The Shan Hills surround the lake - if it wasn’t for the unremitting noise of the motors, it would be beautifully peaceful.

The diamond tipped cartridge / needle I bought for this player was about $90, almost twice what I paid for the turntable itself!

In Murchison's Museum - an ace little journey back in time. This telephone switchboard was in service until 1987, would you believe?

This 2017 Scania R450 was seen parked within Robert Burns' yard in Broxburn after the staff kindly allowed myself and @Fraser Hill into the property to photograph some lorries, which we greatly appreciate. The Scania was originally owned by GRS Bagging and the reason behind the vehicle being parked there is unclear, however a likely explanation is that it's now owned by a sub-contractor for the Culina Group who had either dropped or was waiting to collect a trailer from the depot.
