Trying out my new Kenko macro extension tubes with my Nikon D40 kit lens. I believe I was only using the 20mm tube on this one. It seems to be the one I prefer.

The VisionSonic festival is an initiative of the Pixels Transversaux, the label V-Atak and the center Madeleine Rebérioux with the participation of the Cube and the support of the DICREAM, the Local Union of the MJC, the city of Créteil and the Ministry of Culture (MCC and DDAI) and the Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations.
OPERATORS by TRANSFORMA (DE)
Operators is the culmination of a series of recent studio studies. These have been clustered together to form a stage of experimentation with the Operator at the center going about his work. Manipulating the surrounding elements, he creates acoustic and visual signatures which are spliced together to form a narrative. As images blend between artifice and the ‘reality break’, the resulting ‘film’ is juxtaposed against its very own ‘making of’.
In this live performance Transforma and sound artist Markus Hübner create a sound and video stream which treats video, original sound recordings and music in no hierarchical order.

BAYOU LA BATRE, La. - BM1 April Rex, a Coast Guard reservist out of Station Port Allerton, helps deploy an oil skimmer during a training exercise aboard a converted commercial shrimping vessel, June 27. Rex and other reservists are working to train civilian boat crews to set up and deploy Coast Guard skimming equipment on Vessels of Opportunity. They run daily exercises to keep boat crews up to speed on the process.
The ex-Four Square in Mt Eden Village is looking for more staff. I guess "customer relations operators" is the fancy name for the job these days. Kinda like Subway calls their employees "sandwich artists".

TRAX light rail vehicles (by Siemens) have a lot of wasted space due to full-width operator cabs at both ends.
CTA cars, in contrast, have only half-width operator cabs. The unused cab's door is moved and two seats become available.

The operator topographies are showing the valency of public areas
related to the amount of mobile communication users. The mobile
operator firms have to install the right amount of transmitter heads,
to ensure a maximum of quality. Through reading, drawing, simulating
and translating the construction plans, one is able to reflect the
quality of transmitter heads back to intensive public areas.
