Huddersfield Open Market was opened in the 1880's as the towns wholesale fruit and vegetable market until 1979 when it was closed for re-furbishment.
Plans have been submitted for a 16.5 million revamp to become a combined market and events space.

Found this gem a couple of months ago while on holiday. Loved the look of the dilapidated cottage amongst all the beautiful trees and colours.
It has been raining for several weeks in Sydney. It seems to be open sky. It is still raining a lot so muddy water flows. I went there today morning.

Was doing some street photography last week and came across this store where the door was open to this scene. The ladder was there as it isn't an entrance door to the store. In doing post process for this I could not get the colours right for the RAW version; however it worked well as a monochrome.

I created this panorama from two 9-exposure HDR files captured with the D200. The HDR processed shot was used selectively over the places in the picture that needed an expanded dynamic range.
This is one of my later shots with the old D200 camera. By this time, I was really wringing every last bit of quality I could from the older sensor.
Stopped by at the Golden Pavillon on the way home, trying to get some depth of the scenery by using the 50mm wide open.

Continuing on with fall scenes from the mountain west region, we start with another road trip, this time over Cottonwood Pass, 12,126 ft. This pass will take you over the continental divide to the towns of Crested Butte and Salida.
I begin here with The Comanche Drive-In, built in 1966... a historic family-owned drive-in theater located in Buena Vista, Colorado, offering a stunning view of the surrounding peaks at an elevation of 8000 ft.
It was nice to see an open window, for once. This is part of an office/restaurant complex. Hoping for more open windows and doors to come. Soon.
