“No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, and has just begun!”

From one of my rainy days in Arizona recently, looking for wild horses - I couldn't find them so I did wildflowers. Actually, I walked through one of the areas where I had seen the horses and used one of their trails. I decided they were pretty smart the way they went around thorny obstructions, etc. This little stand of poppies and lupine was right there next to their trail. This one cracked me up: sure looks like the poppy is eating the lupine. The combo of their two colors is also a personal favorite.
"Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is going to change
I close my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
With arms wide open
Well I don't know if I'm ready
To be the man I have to be
I'll take a breath, I'll take her by my side
We stand in awe, we've created life"
