It took me 5 hours to make one photo(1am to 6am)...of course I fell asleep doing it, I meant for it to only be going for 2 hours LOL...
It still worked fine, apart from getting little glass splinters in your fingers (when surfing the web) and your ear (if answering a call).
ringrazio Alina .
Senza di lei non mi sarei mai resa conto che su 36 diapositive ne andrebbero stampate 4.. ;)
Ancora grazie, caVa!

Just as two young girls are passing by, one decides to stop and pose with attitude for my architectural shot of the Akeman restaurant in Tring. At the same time, my wife appears at the door....not amused!! Oh well !!
I heard this very odd bubbly sound. And suddenly springs up a beautiful bittern. It then kept flying place to place and very alert.
(Knothole is sort of like an intermediate level between t-ball and Little League, where to coaches pitch.)
Surface mount chip debilitated by neglected removal of mounting tab on notebook CD drive before insertion into external enclosure. Pencil tip shows scale.
I thought I'd ding it on the trail but nope, the parking lot of the local Texas Roadhouse. Some low to the ground Audi snuck up into my blind spot and I backed up into them. doh!
I was trying to take a self-portrait of me and RH by propping my little snappy cam on the TV. That didn't work out so well, as the camera went *thud* to the floor right before the timer went off!

The rails on this railroad just weren't up to the task of actually carrying trains anymore.
I saw this a short time after it happened.
When I got on the scene, there was a group of guys wearing orange vests staring at the train (of course, keeping to the uphill side - safety first after all). Then someone (also wearing a orange safety vest) would drive up, hop out of their car.
Then someone else would drive up.
There was getting to be quite a crowd.
Unfortunately, the combined efforts of staring at the train did not fix it, as it is still there several days later.
I planted tomato plants yesterday - they were very cheap in Lidl and looked pretty good quality to me.
3 for £2 so I got 6 of them & felt I had a bargain. 3 of Shirley and 3 of gardeners Delight
We had a very hard frost last night and it wiped them out! ...the polytunnel door was closed but they were totally wilted this morning.
I knew there was a chance that they wouldnt do well this early in the year here but felt it worth taking the chance with a few early plants. ...and the rest planted in mid april. If I was lucky then it might extend the season for harvesting a bit earlier.
anyway the update is that I went back to Lidl today and bought another 6! Going to try it again.
The forecast for nighttime temperatures for next while actually doesnt look to bad at all. Fingers crossed.
Cheyenne Janas - Oops!... I did it again
The driver of this car had to come to a sudden full stop. The boat on the trailer behind it had other thoughts.
Just a little oops. I've never been into cake decorating as you can see. When my daughter turned three she helped me frost her cake and put the candle and lettering on it. I had the letters lined up in order and we were practically finished when the phone rang. While I was talking she finished putting on the letters. They're all there, just not in the correct order. I would have faced the candle the other direction, too. I didn't try to change it and all the relatives thought it was great. (Scanned photo from 1983.)
For the December Scavenger Hunt #20 - !Oops!
We went out to try and watch the sunset even though it was cloudy and sprinkling (dur...it was his idea), and got stuck on the way there! We turned the corner and knew it wasn't a good idea, but I guess Brian thought he could gun his way through it. He eventually dug his way out. I was the lookout for reckless rednecks, which I'm sure we looked like.
