There’s a deep and meaningful art display in the window of a snowboard shop in West Vancouver. It seems an artist is Making a Statement with his sculpture – it’s a peace symbol, made of plastic guns and grenades.
.. except the artist didn’t place the downward stroke of the peace symbol. Instead of a peace symbol, he made the Mercedes logo. Out of plastic guns. And called it “Peace”.
He could potentially be making a multi-layered statement about cars and guns and consumerism, but it is much more hilarious to think that he plain fucked up and no one caught it.
Here at the hotel, breakfast is officially until 9am. Generally, landlord, Iain, will go to 9:30am. As a regular guest, if they are quiet, he'll let me have breakfast at 10am as the latest, so I can have a lay-in at the weekend.
It generally takes me just over an hour to shower, dress & do make-up. Woke up this morning before the alarm. Went to the toilet, then snuggled down in bed again. Had a look at the time before dozing off again.
9:20am?!?!?!?

I'd set the alarm for 9:45am instead of 8:45am!
"OOPS" indeed!
Very quick shower, dressed, make-up and just enough time for a few photos before rushing down to breakfast at exactly 10am!

But not as we know it..! Alas, something went wrong on upload.
Far more interesting this way probably than my boring original, so it stays.
Apparently she was quite a demanding high maintenance soul, and badgered the Earl into building her a new Bradgate House that would befit her status. He was astonishingly wealthty, so her wishes were granted. The 150 year old deserted house from the 1500s then fell into disrepair, and the ruins lie there on the park to this day. The remains of the 150 horse stabling block of their replacement home still sit just off the A50 up from Groby. Unfortunately the quarry work land owners do not seem that keen to stop the remains deteriorating.

Surface mount chip debilitated by neglected removal of mounting tab on notebook CD drive before insertion into external enclosure. Pencil tip shows scale.
I thought I'd ding it on the trail but nope, the parking lot of the local Texas Roadhouse. Some low to the ground Audi snuck up into my blind spot and I backed up into them. doh!
I was trying to take a self-portrait of me and RH by propping my little snappy cam on the TV. That didn't work out so well, as the camera went *thud* to the floor right before the timer went off!
Oops, I only wanted to show you my lace stocking tops but I pulled up my nightdress a bit too much. Now I'm inadvertently showing my white panties as well. Oh well, what can you do; it's a tricky balance to just exactly show the stocking tops and you can't really see from above so sometimes you get it wrong. That's the risk of seduction I guess, yet also part of the excitement and fun. Luckily my white shiny panties are very decent so no harm done. Let's adjust for the view that I originally intended though...
