I missed far too many days to stay in this group. I forgot my camera at work all weekend. I picked it up late Sunday, but I still missed too many days.
Things I learned. It's fun to take self portraits and you aren't a narcissist if you do it. When I started, I really didn't have that many pictures of myself, but a lot of my family. I need to include myself in these photos as I am a part of the family too.
I really liked doing the project, and it kept my blog much more active than ever before. I am going to jump right into the family version of 365 so I can get more pictures of all of the family.
Yet another archive shot, think this was from a British Super Bike race at Brands Hatch, Kent, England. Shot on the inside of Druids bend. Yep he walked away!!!!!!!!
Happy (?) accident, trying to sew up stash - Tried and True shorts (OOP Simplicity 6984) lengthened to almost skirt length with sleeveless shirt version from Vogue 6772.
Oxford cotton shirting from fabric mart -- not sure I would ever actually wear these together, but it was fun. Chuffed by how the stripes match up between the two pieces, though totally unplanned.
New thread for me - and I really liked it - Prevencia Hilaturas 60 wt... expensive, but lovely stitched up.
For shirt, basic men's white shell shirt buttons and lightweight crisp shirt fusible interfacing from Fashion Sewing Supply. Flat felled shoulder and side seams, narrow hem hem. Made one size larger than usual, but only had to tweak a little at shoulder for rounded back adjustment. Next time I make it, I think I will skip the tweak and take it in a little on the side seams, but this is perfect for summer. Already really liking and wearing this shirt.
For shorts, added slash front pockets, Hug Snug seam binding for seam finishes and hem. Shirt crisp fusible interfacing for waistband and white button from LaMode - nothing fancy, picked up at Joann's but could have purchased at Buttons.com. Clear inside button and nylon coil 7" zipper from Wawak.

NORFOLK, Va. --- Quinton Chievous scored a game- and career-high 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead four players in double figures as Hampton University defeated Norfolk State (20-13), 75-64 in the semifinal round of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) tournament at the Norfolk Scope.
The Pirates (15-17), the Number 6 seed, will take on Delaware State, the Number 5 seed in the championship on Saturday at 1 pm. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
Chievous made an impact early, tallying 13 first half points to give Hampton a 36-33 lead at intermission. The Pirates extended the lead to 50-39 in the first seven minutes of the second half on the scoring of the play of Chievous, Reginald Johnson and Ke’Ron Brown.
Red Weasel Media (RWM) was there to capture all of the jaw dropping action.
While this guy may think he's the bee's knees, don't let the girl's smile fool you. She is totally not impressed and is about to unleash her own pop-lock tsunami right back at him.

Bi-Centennial Mall. Not a Mall in the shops sense... a park to celebrate 200 years of the state of Tennessee in some reclaimed land. Some Bon-Mots on a wall. A map of the state on the floor in marble. and some great fountains next to a railway bridge that are a draw of kids on hot days.

This pattern is out of print. I used it to make view B about seven years ago. I cut view C short after that, but never sew the skirt together. Labor day weekend I decided to finish the skirt for my upcoming vacation.
