Don't laugh, but I accidentally bought this print twice. Hazards of being a fabric junkie! :-) Now I have two extra yards that I would love to swap for some fabric that I actually need. My wish list is long, you can see it in my profile, and it includes :
Mendocino kelp (any)
Mendocino aqua seahorses, swimming sisters, and mermaids
and TONS of others. Seriously, if you want any of this fabric, just let me know...I'm willing to swap this for just about any fun print that I like! It is brand new and unwashed and I am willing to swap the full two yards or cut it into smaller pieces. Whatever works for you!

Check me if I'm wrong, but isn't Dashie the only one of the Mane Six in Ponyville who doesn't have a pet? I mean, Rarity has Opal, Applejack has Winona, Twilight Sparkle has Spike and Owloysius, Fluttershy has Angel, and Pinkie Pie has Gummy, but Rainbow Dash doesn't have any canonical pets...:(
So, it's nice that they gave the toy version of Dashie a little squirrel buddy. ^^
It was at exactly this point that I decided that Andy's 5D must become mine. I don't think he's going to swap.

The Sphinx and Alley Oop

There’s a man in the funny papers we all know. He lives away back a long time ago. He don’t eat nothing but a-bearcat stew; well, this cat’s name is Alley Oop.
He’s fought in the Crusades, chatted with Cleopatra, pirated in the 18th century, and brawled with alien invaders. For Alley Oop, punching the time clock for hundreds of newspapers hasn’t been easy, but it’s always been exciting!
Alley Oop’s work doesn’t end when the last reporter trudges home. Oop moonlights. The caveman from Moo has also appeared in comic books, Big Little Books, games, and in television cartoons. In the early ‘60s, Alley topped the rock ‘n roll charts as a hit single, and baseball plays have been named after Oop. His name even implies “a boost up” in slang; impressive for a man almost eaten by a dinosaur on his first day of work, August 7th, 1933.
Now, his marvelous adventures are being reprinted. “The Sphinx and Alley Oop” includes a trip with Oop to Robinson Crusoe’s island, a twist into the fourth dimension, and an Arabian Nights fantasy, and the answer to why Oop’s was the original face on the Sphinx.
This volume also includes the reasons why Alley Oop is some of the best work ever produced in comics.
Every character is fully defined, visually distinctive, and interesting. They are human. The art itself is original. Action, pathos, and history are mixed in an entertaining plot. This is fun stuff.
The biographical information on V. T. Hamlin, Alley’s creator, is an additional delight.
In a nutshell, as sung by the Hollywood Argyles: he’s too much. Like … hips-ville.
