Train No. 3982 is about to go under Oolong bridge with locos L265, 2202 and 2208 in April 2007. This service was a loaded flour train originating in Narrandera and heading to Bomaderry on the south coast of NSW.
NR109 (Sandfly II) leads AN8, NR63 & NR101 (Crystal Brook/Redhill), up the grade alongside Oolong Road, between Jerrawa and Gunning, New South Wales, Australia. The "Ghan" unit was looking a treat, but the support staff could've done with a tub!!

been waiting for this since last year! also, sitting at this tea bar is one of my favourite things to do... even with when a spiritual advisor with a slightly overzealous newage bent is the other patron.
I forgot to get her name! She was the first one of the trip and Melly and I were so nervous when we saw her because we both knew instantly she was where the San Fran Strangers MUST begin. So when she agreed to have her picture taken, we were so flustered we forgot to ask! I got about 10 Strangers while I was there, and I want to get their photos up soon since I know they might be looking for them!

This is a Chinese Tea Party demonstrated by my cousin. She is a wonderful model and did the tea making very well.

I pretty much copied this one off of the border of a hand-painted teapot, so I decided to name it after a kind of tea.I just like the sound of "Oolong".
Even though this is fairly representational (of a vine), I think it is too pretty not to share. It is a lovely border and of course more "arms" can be added to branch off and fill an area.

Als der Oolong-Tee fertig war, staunte ich nicht schlecht, wie sich aus einem Kügelchen ein ganzes Teeblatt entfaltet hat.
Was den Geschmack des `Sumatra Oolong Barisans' angeht: Ist nicht mein Geschmack. Das Bisschen Geschmack, das er mitbringt, erinnerte mich ein wenig an Spinat, nur ganz leicht.
Jetzt `kuriere' ich mich mit der einen oder anderen Tasse schwerem Assam (eine Ostfriesen-Mischungen).

NR18, NR35 and AN4 continue their southbound journey through Oolong, as 7BM4 intermodal train to Melbourne.
The hunt for some sun as we chased this train was successful, with the clouds venturing off in the later afternoon.

Navigating the bends of the Main South at Oolong, 1KV2 with 4532, 4917, 4911 and CLP12 lead the loaded grain from Birchip in Victoria back to Allied Mills at Maldon.
Running to an unusual daylight path, Junee to Port Botany container train 3112 cruises through the curves as it climbs up into Oolong from Jerrawa Creek, with inseperable pair QBX004 and QBX002 leading.

C507, RL301, C506, RL306 and RL304 combine to haul 3248 loaded SSR grain train through the hills at Oolong heading to Allied Mills at Maldon.

A little bit SAD over the weekend, said GOODBYE to my faithful friend of 10+ years, traded it in, then onsold, but I now know it went to a good home. Kept the number plates.
