One of the shots from my first visit up to the Kitsuregawa Proving Ground, where Fuso does their testing and where the heritage truck collection lives.
Great fun shooting these old trucks.

Guilty as charged!
Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.
Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.
Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.
In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.
Kids play and run.
Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.
Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.
People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.
Guilty as charged!

Central Park Skating Rink, New York City, New York, USA.
On assignment for Changi Class Magazine.
We found a small slice of serenity in the vast concrete jungle. Too bad we were too cold to enjoy it.
I was lucky to have Jahrensy and Damian along for the ride on this NYC adventure. See what they have to say about it.

A family near the harbour of Thessaloniki. Eight years after the Greek government called for financial aid due to its enormous debts, the Troika transfered the last money of the third rescue package. Greece is in debt as it has never been before. For decades, the state will have to fulfill the requirements of its creditors. Everything indicates that the economy will not recover on its own.
In addition to its economical problems, the Greek state has to take care of around 60.000 refugees in the country - being paid by the EU to prevent most of them from leaving Greece for wealthier countries like Germany or Austria. But the system isn't working - not because of a lack of money, but because this money is wrongly or not effectively spent. "It's a tragedy", NGO staff says.

(ALL INTERNAL RIGHTS, LIMITED EXTERNAL RIGHTS) June 2015. Studio portrait of a Mexican free-tailed bat in Eckert James River Bat Cave Preserve in Mason, Texas. The Nature Conservancy and partners are deeply involved in bat habitat preservation. The Conservancy and Bat Conservation International rallied support from politicians and the people of Texas to convince developers to not build houses near Bracken Cave. The organizations continue to work together to prevent development on territories occupied by bats. Photo credit: © Karine Aigner

Was great to shoot at this wonderful location back in February of 2021.
I've been a fan of Kazuyo Sejima's building since it first went up, which is not so long ago. And it reminds me a little of the McLaren HQ in the UK.
The curves are wonderful and the car fitted great into the scene.
The security guard in the background, in that little wedge of light, was the cherry on the cake really. Adds wonderful depth and scale.

It's always nice bumping into an old friend. Saw this beautiful fox yesterday in Algonquin Provincial Park while on assignment with Canadian Geographic.

The Hledan Market (လှည်းတန်းစျေ) in Yangon was one of the locations we shot at when I was in the city in 2018, working as Unit Stills Photographer on a movie.
Amazing market. Upstairs all textiles. Downstairs food, meat etc.
Spent pretty much one whole day there.
So much to shoot.

Outtakes from San Francisco Magazine assignment for the November 2009 issue
In the 1970s and 1980s in the United States, Löwenbräu (brewed in the U.S.) was famous for its jingle, sung by Arthur Prysock:
Here's to good friends,
Tonight is kind of special.
The beer we'll pour
must say something more, somehow.
So tonight (tonight),
Tonight,
Let it be Löwenbräu (let it be Löwenbräu).
It's been so long.
Hey, I'm glad to see ya.
Raise your glass.
Here's to health and happiness.
So tonight (tonight),
Let it be all the best.
(I can't help but think of this ditty every time I look at these photographs... Although in this case the man is drinking a Stella Artois.) :)
