I wonder why people prefer to stay silent when everything inside of them is screaming out loud, sending signals that things must change. We must change. How hard is it to listen to our own hearts? How hard is it to accept present when past is gone? I know some day, we will be both on the same page, not moment or presence but same state of balance. Like little fragile clouds drifting in imperfect balance on the infinite black sky.
The strongest proof of genuine love is to let people live their choices and let them know that you have already forgiven them for things they don't have the strength to do themselves. I always loved to share this feeling of freedom, but it is only now that I come to realise not everybody can let themselves free, on this infinite sky.

I was trying out my iPhone 11's ultrawide camera recently, seeing if I could get any half decent shots with it in anything other than bright sunlight. It is sort of possible, but not with Apple's in-built Camera app; this tends to apply a huge amount of denoising and other sorts of processing which results in extremely mushy images.
This was taken from within Lightroom Mobile which does a lot less processing of the files.
This was with the studio lights turned right up, and balancing the phone on the top of a chair for some vague stability.
It's still nowhere near the quality of what I can get with my other proper cameras, but it's a passable alternative, and great to have that 13mm equivalent focal length for wide shots like this.
For anyone that doesn't know, I'm a sound engineer at the BBC in London, and since the pandemic I've still been going in to the studio every day to record, edit and mix programmes made by Radio Current Affairs. These days I've been making our weekly programmes like More Or Less, The Briefing Room and How To Vaccinate The World, all on Radio 4.

「和平島」位於基隆市的北端，早期稱為大雞籠嶼或社寮島，原為凱達格蘭族的聚落之地，本來是一座孤立的海島，後來因修建和平橋才和基隆市相連。和平島濱海地區因長期受東北季風迎面吹襲及海蝕影響，造就許多特殊的地形景觀，有海蝕平台、豆腐岩、海蝕溝、燭台石、萬人堆、千疊敷、海蝕洞、蕈狀岩等，其中最奇特的景觀就屬「千疊敷」和「萬人堆」。因受到長年海潮沖刷平台上的砂岩，成為一塊塊四方形的岩石，景觀好像地上鋪了上千張的榻榻米，從日據時期就被稱為「千疊敷」。而萬人堆就是像蕈狀的岩石，從高處望下，就好像一顆顆的人頭排列在海邊，「萬人堆」之名由此而來。除了奇特的地形外，公園內露出地層的生物本體化石和生痕化石也是本區地質上的瑰寶，豐富特殊的地質景觀和海蝕地景，堪稱是一處大自然的地質教室。另外，本區在冬季因受東北季風吹襲，藻生植物如紫菜、髮菜、鹿角菜、筊白菜等生長非常茂盛，因此引來高經濟魚類如黑毛、白毛、象魚、粗皮鯛等藻食魚科在此迴游啃食岸邊海藻，而使此區成為冬季藻餌磯釣的熱門地點。

Although is not time again for planes in here, this was so cool to not share, yesterday's amazing time flying on board Duxford's magnificent Dragon Rapide. Need to fly again on such a real plane :)
Great time with friends on a "blitz" visit to IWM Duxford.
Aunque todavía no tocaban los aviones por aquí, no he podido aguantarme compartir con vosotros el estupendo vuelo a bordo del increíble Dragon Rapide de Duxford. Necesito volver a volar en un avión de verdad :)
