Invader Space Station 09/04/2024 12h58
On Air
In the Summer of 2021 I had a 21-meter-long banner printed and hired a small plane to tow it along the beaches of the Côte d'Azur. I then looked for the best vantage points to photograph this operation. Because over the hundred kilometers of fllying the plane was only visible for a few seconds from a fixed point. In addition to my team of photographers posted at specific points I launched a competition on Instagram and received more than a hundred photos taken by vacationers from the beaches. The banner exhibited here is an 85% reproduction of the size of the original. [Invader]
Invader Space Station
An exhibition from February 17th to May 5th 2024.
From the heart of Paris, the city where his artistic adventure began, Invader invites you to discover a massive 3,500 m² exhibition spread over 9 floors of a legendary Parisian building. Photos, videos, sculptures and installations, hundreds of works, some of which have never been seen before, await you there, in a scenography tailor-made by the artist.
Invader Space Station is a celebratory exhibition since it will coincide with the creation of PA__1500, the 1500th mosaic installed in the capital, but also with the reactivation of the fresco created on the roof terrace of the building 13 years ago, when the home to the editorial staff of the newspaper Libération.

“It’s possible to forget how alive we really are. We can become dry and tired, just existing, instead of really living. We need to remind ourselves of the juice of life, and make that a habit. Find those places inside that jump for joy, and do things.”
She was spontaneous... I wasn't prepared for the shot. Good, I kept clicking and clicking, as it is my habit when I'm at the beach. I am very particular with the waves -- I want them rushing towards me. This shot is now my favorite.
“Mama exhorted her children at every opportunity to ‘jump at the sun.’ We might not land on the sun, but at least we would get off the ground.”
~ Zora Neale Hurston
