This gorgeous little fellow was certainly very alert and keeping an eye on me while I was trying to move slowly in trying to capture that stance. Brave little fellow!

I recently installed a roof on our woodpile, and have been stacking the wood under the new shelter. This Bewick's wren was curious about the progress, and checking out the results.
only a short 40 minute drive away from where I live there is a whole world of pristine nature where one can hike, swim or just chill on the beaches to while away the hours, we go here as often as possible to escape the city sounds and tensions..
Castle on the river ...

This Castle is real, it is not an illusion.
Such photos are sometimes taken serina if the conditions are right.
This day is another example that it is worth waiting for a fabulous light that brings out unprecedented colors and shades. But that would not be enough to succeed.
I waited several years to take photos of the castle from the north side, because the location from which such photos can be taken is a private property usually unavailable, but that day the owner visited his old house. You also have to be a little lucky to be where you need to be at the right time - that day I did not have a camera with me but I had a phone, in less than 5 minutes I took 11 photos, walking closer to the river towards the castle - I only changed the focal lengths. It was worth waiting for the right moment.

As I mentioned in the previous upload, that hill, the Gaatkensbult, with the official name: Jan Gerritseheuvel, will play a big part in my photography. I haved always like to watch people and animals in different situations then daily life in the streets. But it really needs a hill to make all the difference. Here is the first photo since a long time I have made on that hill. Let's do some silhouettes!

Driving down towards Pegeia on the Western side of Paphos, thick clouds but no rain as per the BBC forecast
This blue heron was perched on the filtered drain in Commonwealth Lake. It was near the path, so everyone who saw us photographers was calling our attention to it. Nice to have help!
The female cardinal has returned once again, I haven't seen her for a few days and wondered if she found a mate. As I looked out the window scanning the yard, there she was perched on the grapevine watching me.
Another lovely day in Sydney - still a little cool, but you can tell that Spring is on the way. I was out in the garden photographing bees when I spied my first Ladybird of the season.
