Lizenzbau des Nordwestdeutschen Fahrzeugbau in Wilhelmshaven. Gegenüber dem Fuldaer unterschied sich das NWF-Fuldamobil äusserlich nur durch die seitliche Regenleiste und unter dem Blech benützen die NWF-Leute ein ILO-Motor von 197 cc Hubraum.

Oldtimer, Henrichenburg, 2017
Dieser wunderschöne Oldtimer parkte am Straßenrand beim Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg.

This beautiful vintage car parked at the roadside at the ship lift Henrichenburg.
The Soviet Lada and the Czechoslovakian Škoda were very popular buys for the budget motorist in the 1980s. He or she could buy a rugged, well-equiped (for the money) and, despite the jokes, reliable brand-new family car for very little money. The Škoda - known as the Estelle in the UK market - was a rear-engined car, whilst the Lada, which was derived from a Fiat design, and in many ways actually improved, had a 1200cc front engine.
Seen here on the SALT Area 7 tour, March 24th, 2013. The SALT Rallies are for vehicles built in the Cold War period, and the events tour Cold-War related venues. Most of the participating vehicles come from the Soviet Bloc, but there is no political element, implied or actual in the SALT ethos. This one-day event took place in East Yorkshire, and culminated in a visit in the until-recently top secret AREA 7 of the underground bunker at RAF Holmpton.
