The reality that politicians do not want to show us, visible in their streets, forgotten in their minds ...

Yes, he has some money in his hands, which he counts, but he is poor, old and sick. No, he's not a bum who lives at the train station. He personifies millions worthy of sympathy and help. The photo was taken on the territory of the food court, where there are many different cafes, but the amount of money in his hands is not enough even for a cup of coffee and a bun.

Virginia back roads. Yikes! Not sure about the blending with the picture and framing....but oh well! :-0

Much thanks to Kerstin Frank Art for the beautiful texture. Her link: www.flickr.com/photos/kerstinfrank-design/albums/72157624...

Of old age, degeneration and bit's falling off left, right and centre.....

Interesting also the location for some scenes filmed for a recent Channel 4 comedy drama - The Curse!

Wahrscheinlich die mächtigste Linde in der Gegend. Und völlig gesund! Was hat dieser Baum schon alles gesehen?

Probably the mightiest lime tree in the area. And completely healthy! What has this tree already seen?

An oak tree seen along the I Street Extension from Petaluma California.

Your nose can grow for three reasons: 1. old age, 2. distorted perspective when (as here) photographed with a wide-angle lens, and 3. when you, as frequently happens to a particular prime minister, are "ambushed by a cake".

old age is coming ...

Day 255 for my 365. Day 31 for the roses.

During lock down, I tried my hand at something new; digital painting. This portrait is of a person from a remote village in Sri Lanka.

In his old age, Tyler has not wanted to cuddle much or sleep in our bed due to either physical discomfort or nighttime restlessness.

When it happens, it’s the best feeling ever. ❤️

"Don't worry about old age, it doesn't last"

Old age isn't the only root cause for decay. A good dose of a coastal climate significantly adds to the aging process.

As the shadows of age fall on this old Chevy better times are remembered.

Detail and colours in a wilting flower.

Whittington Castle on a bright sunny day. Just a couple of miles outside Oswestry.

A body in motion

Translating sound into

Action, stepping bowing

Then momentarily,

She flies.

A perfect, graceful sight

Muscles taut, try to keep

Pace with a mind, that

Not even gravity

Can corrupt.

Her torso sculpted by

Dedication, passion,

Anger and pain, so that

She may perhaps go on

To fly again.

Floating through the air like

Water, black and sombre;

But she dies in the end,

Old age clipping her wings

Looking Back 100 Years.

The Somme, WW1.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

Nice clean shot of the Frostburg Station and 1309. If you give the engineer 25 dollars to blow the whistle and sound like it is ready to leave everyone quickly clears the area and boards the train. So I fibbed a bit, shot shortly before the Frostburg Flyer returns to Cumberland.

I took this image of Lolparpit and his mate exactly one year ago. He and his brother Olbanoti ruled the Enkoyonai pride of the Mara for many years and had many offspring. I recently learned that he just died of old age at the ripe old age of 16 years.
