Hammond old engine 5. It served as engine 1 before. It was bumped to reserve status in September 2005, and retired in Jan 2009. It is seen here pumping a very massive fire that killed 3 people in July 2005.

This old house is on 220 just north of Franklin. Co., VA. I recently noticed it is leaning more and decided I better get a photo of it before it's too late. Hate to see it go.

A very old Wagon.
I took this photograph while visiting Old Sacramento Ca. during their historical Gold Rush Days events. Labor day weekend, every year - it lasts for four days. A must see - Old Sac does it every year in Sept.
You can call ahead for complete scheduling, or just go online to the main Sacramento Ca website.
It really takes you back to the old western days of long past.
