I can't remember what town it was that I saw this house in. It's a great old place, and it looks like they might be beginning to restore it.
After last night's spectacularly red sunset I went out early tonight hoping for another. I walked over to Old Sarum Castle, but it didn't happen. Here's a few of the pics I took anyway
It was a fairly uninteresting day but sometimes it's exactly what is needed to allow for the most reflection. The cloudy weather kept most adventurers away and allowed some solitary time on the mountain.
Nearing the summit of Old Rag there is a lookout and probably my favorite one on this mountain. Seeing the blanket of green draped over the landscape always brings me happy thoughts. Sure it sounds cheesy but it's true.
The forest allows me to recharge and I feel refreshed after spending time out in it.
This panoramic was shot on my iPhone 4S and merged together using Photoshop. No editing or manipulation was performed.
Closing in on his suspect, Marshal Owens was determined to avenge the death of his brother. It could only have been one man...Two-Fingers McGillicuddy.

Old hardback books on a shelf at my parents' house. Reading is one of my great pleasures in life, so I have never understood people who don't have more books than they know what to do with!
ATSF 3751 led a steam excursion trip from Los Angeles to San Diego on June 1, 2008. It had been around 50 years since this locomotive made this run as part of its regular duties when in service of ATSF Railroad.
An old abandoned steam train at the pocinho train station.
A Few of these trains can be seen along the Douro railway. One of them was recuperated and now operates as a tourist attraction where you can go on a steam train from Oporto to Tua along the Douro river providing you with an unique view.
He has painted lips and eyebrows. As well as a painted mustache. He still has his original handle and candle holder. From an old estate of 3 generations. As a friend mentioned he resembles the old tin parade lanterns from long ago.

This one was unusual because it is off of the main street where most are! I have a feeling that this one is newer than it appears, (or the Johnsons Family Cleaners was added at a later time) due to the phone number being all numeric. Somewhere in the late 50's or early 60's, I believe they converted from Alpha Numeric, i.e., CE7-2981. With the CE being short for Central & so on.. NOt sure when this happened in Cameron, Texas.
Old Blewett Pass Road, now a shoddily-maintained US Forest Service Road. Great views from the switchbacks!
