Nothing like a hometown parade. Here we see the towns first fire car, and the latest edition to the fleet.
Charming view, looking west across the East Lake, with the formal swimming pool & arcade as the framed vista focus.

These old Barcelona Hazelnut trees are at my folks' place, and have been there 50-100 years.Looks a bit "Middle-Earth-ish" today. Click the tag "hazelnut" for others I've posted.
A neglected old house located just underneath the wonderful Seven Sisters. Tried to keep this one finetuned but I so easily get carried away. Not too much, though :)
These old time houses are build have on top, half within the ground. So you step a few steps down when entering the small, single room within. This makes the build quite easy, with just building the roofs structure and skipping vertical walls, that need to carry the roof.
On the area of an old viking village at Trelleborg, there is today the "Vikingeborgen Trelleborg" museum and museums village. In different projects old style houses are rebuild and the foundations of the old vikings castle with earth wall and the stamps of the old, wood houses are shown. In a nearby building a big library and museum is located, so there is something to see, even on rainy days.
