Model Chelsey Starr captures the look and feel of an old world painting of a regal beauty with the help of a few yards of tulle and a white bedsheet.

A record shot of 45627...or is it 45562...or even 45699? It was very gloomy at Old Linslade as the Jubilee raced past around 7:30am on it's way up to Chester.
This old ghost sign made me think of those early reading books that featured Dick, Jane, and their dog Rex. Thinking of dogs is just one step away from contemplating fleas, which is not a good advertisement for a hotel. But, for a dollar a night who's arguing. Plus, there's always Caladryl Lotion.
You can tell I've been itching to post this.

Urbex Exploration | Urbex | Decay | Abandoned.
English: The abandoned urbex location Ferme Hiboux is a filthy location. The house or farm is full of spiders threads and with every turn you make your photo bag covered with it. And you can fin everything at this location! The most appealing are the stuffed animals. The inhabitant did this as a hobby and won prizes with it. Furthermore, the house was littered with old dolls, needles, clothes in the hallways, a piano and much more. Unfortunately I can not say much about the history, I did not find anything about this...

This is at the shop where Dr Evermor (Tom Every) made most of his sculptures. I love the safe and notice the cat face under the scale. There are lots of the awesome cat sculptures at Dr Evermor's Sculpture Park in North Freedom Wisconsin.
My wife and I have a bit of a history with this old downtown hotel. Once a stop over for businessmen and farmers coming into the city for a day or two, by the late 1980’s it had become one of the most notorious flop houses in Peoria for alcoholics, bums, prostitutes, drug addicts, and other street people. Anybody who could hustle up fifty dollars a month could get a room there. It had a common use kitchen and bathrooms down each hall. They used to call these SRO’s (single room occupancy). The roaches there were so voracious, it is said that they would come out at night and crawl all over you and bite you on your mattress. When the city decided to build a new baseball stadium nearby, they came here and wrote up all of the code violations effectively putting them out of business. Many years later it still stands with it’s two famous ghost signs still intact. In it’s heyday as an SRO, Pat and I would go down there on Sunday morning to preach the Gospel to and pray for the people who lived there. We always took food and a giant urn of coffee with us. I will never forget the looks of the tired haggard whores with their black eyes, bruised arms and vacant countenances as they came down the magnificent old staircase to get the coffee and donuts. You will never know the horror of other people’s lives unless you step out of your own comfort zone and reach out to them. Cheers.

I was at the Toad Suck Daze Festival in Conway a few weeks ago and spotted this Old Timer walking around Love that look on his face.

The more I find out the less that I know
Black and white is how it should be
But shades of grey are the colors I see.” ~ Billy Joel
I came across this old oak many years ago out with my Pentax MX one evening. I have given the scanned slide a "bit of love"
with Lightroom.
