Almost exactly a year ago, I decided to take a miniature road trip over to the other coast of Florida to do some photography. It was a great time and I definitely got a few shots that I was really happy with.
Here's one that I never got around to posting. But, I really like it. Just has such a cool feel to it. I think mid-day photography gets such a bad wrap, but with shadow & light and the way they play together, I am really beginning to like shooting during that time more than most others for seascapes.
This was converted to Black and White in Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro.

The armature is offset inside the track (outside circles). The black boxes are weights. As the weights move around the track in a clockwise fashion, the spokes shift through the armature's axel allowing the right-side spokes to gain length while the left side spokes shorten. This should create a weight difference between the left and right side causing the wheel to spin on it's own.
