Looks like a good weekend coming up !

Im photographing both days, a few weeks back I managed to photograph 41 of the 100 billed at Summer sundae, im not expecting to get as much (more stages less time) but we will see....

Edit: What a great festival, just confirmed for this years as well. If you are thinking about traveling to the festival I would reccomend it! (and despite what I said above I got a TON of stuff last year so expect to get some great stuff again this year :)

A few of my shots that are on here are also on the festivals website.

The San Andreas Fault, here exposed on the floor of the Carrizo Plain in one of the most desolate and least-visited regions of California. Note the offset stream cutting across the fault. On the far side is the Pacific plate and on the near side the North American. It's a right-lateral fault, meaning the other side of it is moving to the right, on whichever side you stand. The Pacific side is moving to the northwest in a motion geologists call "right step." Streams that once flowed straight across the fault now step to the right before they continue. These steps are recent. The plate below has moved hundreds of miles in the last two dozen million years. One study says stream channels were offset up to 50 feet in the 1857 Fort Tejon quake, one of the largest in historic time.

Aspen airport can be a challenge even on a clear day. You start your approach over Red Table mountains at 14,000 feet and then dive for the airport. On this approach we are offset from the center line on runway 15.

4 tiers 6, 6, 8 and 10 inch dark chocolate and cherry ripe mudcakes covered in dark chocolate ganache and covered in fondant. Green and pearl lustre dust painted, royal icing and sugarpaste decorations and isomalt gems. All edible.

I had problems with my fondant and the edges cracking! Quite a few drama's along the way but still happy with how it turned out. Just hoping it is still okay for the cutting of it tonight!

“The Cheyenne” moves you beyond simply grilling (>325°) and into the world of slow smoking (<250°) and barbecuing (<325°). The difference is this; the heat and smoke are drawn through the cooking chamber indirectly, the indirect heat is the secret to producing moist, super tender meat with that rich smoky flavor. Whether you are feeding your family or a gathering of a dozen people put the Cheyenne to work for you and be prepared to enjoy Blue Ribbon results.
