James co-founded Offsetters in 2005, and currently sits as its President. Since 2006, he has been a professor of Business Ethics at the University of British Columbia, jointly appointed between the Sauder School of Business and the W. Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics. James’ research activities cover a number of areas including social enterprise, climate change, and the social impacts and acceptability of new technologies. His current research focuses on emerging international markets for carbon exchange, social determinants of health in developed countries and the governance of biotechnology and genomics in Canada

Almost exactly a year ago, I decided to take a miniature road trip over to the other coast of Florida to do some photography. It was a great time and I definitely got a few shots that I was really happy with.
Here's one that I never got around to posting. But, I really like it. Just has such a cool feel to it. I think mid-day photography gets such a bad wrap, but with shadow & light and the way they play together, I am really beginning to like shooting during that time more than most others for seascapes.
This was converted to Black and White in Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro.
