Hey. That's a weird title. I guess today was just a flurry of crazyness. So look, a picture of lights flashing at the typical 60Hz freq throughout the city, taking by swinging my camera down during an exposure form atop the bridge last night.

Today I woke up after a good, solid 35 minutes of sleep from 5:45 to 6:20. Photography class was odd. He wants us to create collages of photographs in "very complicated" ways but he's WAY specific about how he wants teh complicated editing process excecuted. So. It's peculiar. Nevertheless, fun explorations this morning. I definitely stitched Trevor, Carol, and Seth's faces together in a magically frightening way. I'll post that if i ever consider it a completed work. :P

After photography I headed back to the dorm, didn't eat, hopped in bed and slept straight till 1:30 when I really debated skipping class, but in the end the "$200 per class" idea won me over and I headed to class feeling like I definitely needed $200 worth of nap. I ended up writing a pretty interesting narrative of my day thus far. After that I biked from Arnold to Anderson for Design class in which I made this picture and some pretty crazy photoshop renderings as well. Those aren't technically photographs, so I won't POTD them, but I'll post it to flickr none the less. After that, headed home, tried to fly kites again, not enough wind, watched lost, fell asleep watching lost, tried to sleep, shopped for paper towels, posted this, and now sleep. It's been a pretty uneventful day.

I was downtown picking up tickets for a Rochester Red Wings baseball game later in the week and since I had my trusty camera with me I took a few pictures. The gate was open so I just prowled around inside too.

For Martha and other bird lovers. The nesting site of Rochester's Peregrine Falcons every year is just below the point of the Eastman Kodak office building in the background.

Each year Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBCNZ) is supported by thousands of hair cuts… Well… hair shaves.

In 2010, some friends decided to put on their own event. Dubbed the “Great Shave Tweetup”, they took over One 2 One cafe for the afternoon, and raised a heap of cash. Lovely humans one and all.

It was their example I followed when later helping to organise events in the years to come…
