The auxiliary lights are activated automatically when a train passes through a grade crossing or when the horn is sounded. Most SEPTA engineers seem to operate with the auxiliary lights on at all times. This one did not. I believe these are crossing lights and not ditch lights. They are focused differently and ditch lights are generally operated in a steady mode while crossing lights are operated in a flashing mode.
Shannon Falls, off to the right of the Chief. It was not long after this shot was taken that the rest of the group rounded a point and entered the Mamquam Blind Channel, out of sight of Tracey, Tina, and myself. Suddenly, I looked over and saw Tracey and Tina in the water, with Tracey struggling in vain to blow her whistle like Rose in "Titanic." I paddled over as fast as I could and helped them right their kayak, then I attempted to stabilize it while they climbed on. The kayak refused to stay upright, however. Fortunately, we were only about 100 yards from shore, so a combination of swimming and towing got them onto dry land before hypothermia set in (just barely.) When Tina and I tried to pull their boat ashore, we noticed that it weighed a ton (tonne.) Water had apparently been leaking into the hull of the sit-on-top all day, which is why it became unwieldy as they paddled across the surf.
The outfitter's guide finally noticed that we were missing and puttered back around the point in her little playboat. We had words. She radioed for their van, which drove around to pick up our boats and gear. Ann was right behind them in our van, and she shuttled the three of us up to the hotel, which was less than a mile away. Hot showers were definitely high on the agenda.
The Dream Machines car show at the Half Moon Bay Airport. There were more cars than planes but there were some great opportunities for photography.

Nothing more exciting then to see my little ones together. Kisses a plenty is what he has been getting from Asia lately which is great. Glad that all our love we showed her has rubbed off on her .
This capture was inspired in this tone by my good flickr buddy Nikki here is her link to the capture she did in B&W with brown tones.
Two annoying girls I was sat next to on the flight out went mental over this Ocado voucher. They read it wrong though and thought it was off a £40 shop.
Back to the Pelicans again. Photos taken on my trip to Queensland in July- August 2015
Today I meet up with a person from Flickr who lives in New Zealand and we just happened to be at Surfers that same time. We have just had some lunch and now we are wanting to watch the feeding of the Pelicans here at back doors of the Charis Seafood shop. this all happen around 1.30pm except for Mondays.
The Pelicans start arriving hour or so before and wait around for their fed of fish. The fish carcass are tossed into the air, most get one fish and move off but some wait around for some more!.
