This little girl kept running back and forth into the Crown Fountain at Millennium Park. Then she did this, and I couldn't resist taking her picture.
August 2010.
I chopped off Zoey's hands and legs/feet I know, but it's tough to capture a child who keeps moving about especially when you're using a fixed zoom lens and laying on the floor.

Living next to the Griswold house in Berwyn is probably a little disheartening for the people on either side. Nobody will ever notice the little tree on the porch on the left. The house on the right doesn't even bother.

Nope! It's not Jaws!
Just a couple of dolphins feeding right off the beach this a.m..

It's nice to see them back out there.

Wheatear. There are two on the sea front at Burnham yesterday, feeding both on the beach and in leaf litter along the promenade.
It was so nice, so very nice, for once to be close enough to switch away from ISO100 and to still have enough light to close the aperture just a stop.
The highlight of this summer was our daughter's graduation at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. I loved the touching but at the same time relaxed and humorous ceremony in the historic setting of King's College, which dates back to the 15th century. My girl is the blond in the right, with her arm up the highest :) What joy and happiness!
