This great golden digger wasp was busy working the milkweed and I was snapping him when this honeybee decided to try out that area. The wasp turned on the honeybee as if to say "no trespassing" and the bee immediately flew off. The wasp continued to work methodically from floret to floret.

Oregon Inlet bird zone, off limits! I took this from the Herbert C. Bonner bridge while my husband was driving north! I thought the camera/lens did a pretty good job since you can make out the words on the sign!!
Waiting for some rowers to reach me but this swan put in a better image instead with a close take off within yards of me.
659 Front dash was a real eye sore what with not only its horrid patch on the nearside and cable tied offside corner but the whole front has been pushed into the bus as all the supports were bent or sheered. Thankfully we will not have to stitch it all back together as during our London trip we secured the front dash and mounts from OSC 620V which was in very good condition. You can see the front dash is off and the mounts have been swapped for the good ones off 620.

9241. This Great Blue Heron posed for a number of shots. The most interesting of the series was when he took off, almost straight at me.
HDR Photography “Off To Neverland” – Here’s a shot that I took on my way to Neverland! Well actually no, this was taken from the Shard in London, England. The tower provides a great ariel view of the city! While processing this photo, I kept thinking about the movie Peter Pan. As cheesy as this sounds, I started to imagined what it would look like to fly over London on the way to Neverland! There’s something to be said about letting your mind wonder while working on a photo. It always brings me to a place where anything is possible, my own little Neverland! Oh, and if you ever need directions to Neverland… “Second star to the right and strait on till morning” :)
