For the daily challenge....."Pointed"

Looks good on black.

One tiny little water drop off the point of an orchid petal. I was surprised how clear I was able to get it. Obviously not as pinsharp as with a true macro, but for a little attachment lens for the iPhone, I think it did amazingly well.

Cranes gather every morning by my home, here they are about to fly off after spotting me.

... for a while. Camped in lovely green places, catched some sun and listened to the silence. Oh joy !

Thanks to all :)

One of the scenic alleys in Edinburgh, but it seems most of them have traffic barriers or parking restrictions painted on them now.

having hurled ourselves from Worcester Bridge into the River Severn, circa 1975 (the 3 Petes/Faryar at the back).

I accidentally cut 4mm off the left side instead of the right side. The result is an off-center zipper! The dress is totally wearable and the zipper is full functional even though it isn't centered, but I find it hilarious. I've been sewing clothes with zipper for a while now and this is the first time something like this has happened to me!

For a variety of reasons I have not been able to access the foreshore as the tide retreats for a while. Yesterday I had a great day back there, keeping my kit to the minimum I was able to cover a lot of ground very quickly. Our time here this year is drawing to close and at every tide's retreat when the sun is low in the sky I hope to be here, tripod and cameras at the ready.

(I didn't turn the light off-- I just cupped my hand over it.)

My favorite shot I took this morning for a travel magazine. I'll submit it and hope it will get published.

I have one that's not off-center, but I am too bug-eyed in it, so this will have to do. No retouching!
