US Air Force 55th Wing Boeing RC-135U 'Combat Sent',
64-14849/OF arriving at RAF Mildenhall on the 18th of September 1996.
Yet another specialist modification of the basic C-135 airframe, the RC-135U variant was designed primarily to collect technical intelligence on adversary radar emitter systems to develop new or upgraded radar warning receivers, jammers, decoys, anti-radiation missiles, and training simulators.
Home based at Offutt AFB Nebraska, the RC-135U, V & W variants have been regular visitors to this sprawling Suffolk Air Base.

The legs are basically just me with some silicone hip pads only. The camera angle, leaning back pose and of course the glossy black Rose Sakura hosiery shows them off rather nicely, though!

because i am sick of people showing off their "awesome tools of the trade" [lets face it the tool doesn't make the art] i made this 30 piece challenge for myself. i spent 4$ at the local dollar store and for my next 30 pieces i will only draw and paint with what you see here on usps stickers, sent/gifted setups and stickers, recovered vinyl, or recovered cardboard and paper from work
i changed this from a "30 day" to a "30 piece" challenge because of my sporadic drawing habits
If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos. We can not have equilibrium in this world with the current inequality and destruction of Mother Earth.

Home of various off road events held several times during the year. My images are from the "King of the Hammers" end of the season final event. Practice and qualifying for all classes takes a few days, then the major event at the end of the week. 160+ miles, 3-laps with a course changes, terrain and elevation variables tossed in - plus a time limit . Hammer town (upper center left) grows from 0 to between 30K - 40K people in one week, then we all disperse. This is an international event that is broadcasted live world wide. Described as "The most grueling one day race on the planet", is not a joke. Very few finish (less than 20%) in the approximate 14hr. time limit. Most break down, but a few will tough it out, and finish in the wee hours of the morning. The Pro level is like NASCAR Sprint Cup on steroids, and is taken just as seriously by the teams and sponsors. For those that are interested, you can go on line and look up "King of The Hammers", for more information.
All images (see album) were processed with various software to vary the look and feel that they convey. Some were done more than one way, just to play around and try new things. Photomatix Pro, Nik Software & Lightroom 5 are the only software that I use. I do not have, or use, Photoshop. Thank you for stopping by and looking at my images. All images in the series are single exposure.
Cut Off, Louisiana is a small community of about 6,000 located in Lafourche Parish. The local culture is Cajun and lines Bayou Lafourche on both sides. The climate is semitropical evident in the greenery of the area and the surrounding area is abundant in seafood.

Lome, Togo
In August I traveled to Togo in Africa to teach. To learn more about my trip and see more photos, check out my post Sharing a Beach Adventure in Lome, Togo on my blog Batteredsuitcase.net
The ocean wasn't actually off limits. But maybe because of the big storms, the city put up this fence along the south side of the pier. The waves were wild, the surfers were out!
Feeling a little better this morning.
Off to radiation. 10 sessions left after today.....
Seeing light at end of tunnel.
So close yet so far.

After arrival from Wolsztyn into Poznań Główny at 07:33 on Monday 2nd December 2013, Ol49-59 very quickly moves off its train and proceeds to the depot before all passengers have disembarked from the two coaches. This part of the station, subject to a programme of total rebuilding as an integrated transport hub since 2007, has so far seen very little change for many years.
