This robin comes eveyday for food

Taken at Ala Moana beach park after the sun had just set. Those damn kids playing on the guard shack left me with ghosting on my hdr.

Panorama made from 3 images tone mapped in photomatix. Each image is made up of 3 exposures (-2,0,+2). Combined in CS3 and adjusted curves and a few color adjusment in sky.

It has been three days since we were run off the road into the Wither Woods. I can see why our Rego was apprehensive on getting involved on the continent. What should have been a simple trip to the Avalonian capital has turned into a slaughter in the dark inside these woods. Death lurks in these trees. My contingent of solders has all but vanished and I know it is not cowardice or desertion.

I fear if I fall asleep, I may never wake, but I have not slept since we were attacked on that first night; I can fight it back no longer. We’ve situated camp on this crag over a stream; we will be safe on two sides, at least. Hirbod has the first watch. May his eyes, and ears, not fail us tonight.

-Sicuro

After weeks of no word from Sicuro or the contingent of men he led to Avalonia, rumor made its way to the Rego of Varlyrio. This whisper was enough to convince his minster of War and himself that isolation from the continent was prudent. Varlyrio would not send troops to the Battle of Historica.

This is my entry into the Guilds of Historica Book III Challenge V: Category A (which takes place in Book II). This lost diary entry explains what happened to the contingent of troops sent by the Rego of Varlyrio. Their disappearance solidifies his view that Varlyrio should stay out of the distant war.

The coniferous trees follow Katie Walker’s design while the odd-angled branched ones are based on Legopard’s Design. I found both by following this Brickbuilt Tutorial.

Gołębia street, Stary Rynek

While waiting for the sunrise yesterday morning, I took a minute to quickly wander through the Rynek. I love this street and how the sun light fills it and bounces off all of the walls. I am always captivated by it and shoot more than my fair share here when I am wandering through.... —

A local resident heads off to the shops as 'Kriegslok' 33.064 trundles a loaded train of coal, complete with coal thieves, from Sikulje Mine to Lukavac exchange yard on 11 November 2014. The diffused sunlight through the polluted sky enabled this shot 'wrong side' for the sunlight.

I was on my way back from a meeting and had the camera in the boot and was passing T5 and I thought why not pop down to my favourite little view spot and see what I can get.

I was not ready to take this shot as I was in awe of the awesomeness of this plane…it was massive…lol This image does not even come close to show the magnitude of this aircraft.

I increased the exposure, clarity and brought the temperature down a bit. I then increased the shadows and a little bit of saturation and the blue saturation too, increased the blue luminance just to blow out the sky out a bit. I used the healing tool to take out a whole tree on the bottom right (amazing) and two lamp post that were in the middle and then finally added some colour priority and lens vignetting in LR.

I feel like there is something messing, I wanted to add some vapor trails but not sure whether that would be better or heat trails or maybe some text at the bottom…what you think???

Walk it off now

You can tell them all how, how hard we tried to work it out

Walk it off dear

Standing here with your tail between your thighs

Here we stand

There's nothing left for you

There's nothing left for me

Here I am

There's nothing left for you

There's nothing left for me

I will never be what you want to see now

I will never be what you want to see now

I never wanted you to go

But I'd be the last to let you know

Walk it off now

You can tell them all how, how good it feels to be let down

The purpose of these workings, the workings the previous day to and from Berwick Upon Tweed and indeed the moves over the next couple of days are for training Locomotive Services Ltd staff in preparation for rail tours/charters in the near future all being well.

Commander Jerid- Alright, Ghost Squad, when we reach the destination, we are to head directly to a safe house set up by the villagers on the left of the LZ. It will be marked by a green stripe on the door. Further instructions will be given from there.

For the Valentine Blythe Meet organized by Tru!

Will catch up next week when I am back home.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Snowy Egret taking off.

Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

In a few short days, I will be hitting the road in what I have started calling "The LP Express"! My little SUV with a small trailer in hot pursuit filled with all of the light Painting Tools I have created and collected over the years! (Pics coming soon!) This will be one awesome trip!

My first stop will be be to meet up with jah~ and we will be off to Utah for a night in Arches National Park! Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park are also on the list to hit as we make our way to Vegas!

Once in Vegas, we will be branching out to some awesome areas, including Hoover Dam, Death Valley, and some Ghost towns are on the list as well!

And THEN! The following weekend I am hoping to meet up with a few more light painters back in Death Valley for some more awesome LP scenery! ;-)

Things have been keeping me crazy busy getting ready for this trip and keeping up with a slow but steady stream of business as well. But there are some cool things on the horizon! :-)

This were created during some testing of the orb tools offered on www.LightPaintingTools.com
