For a while now I've wanted to try cross processing my film. I was given some lomography 120 slide film for Christmas so I thought this was the perfect opportunity. So I had this roll of slide film developed in the chemicals meant for regular negative film, hence the funky colors. I think it makes for an interesting look.
This elegant, off shoulder dress is available in eight colors. Each color pack includes the dress in silver and gold.

A brown pelican at its lift off from a pier in western Florida.
Brown pelicans are quite common at this area.
its been almost 3 weeks and the LBC and the LWC haven't officially met yet. the one encounter they had resulted in DD's leg being scratched in the process of trying to keep them apart.
While driving down a country road in west Ottawa I spotted a small, unusual white 'bump' just sticking up from a clump of corn stalks about 50 meters (160 feet) into the field. A check with binoculars confirmed my guess.
It was a VERY cold, windy morning but I waited this bird out from a distance at the roadside. It had been actively scanning the surrounding field.
Finally it took off. The wind was to my advantage as it was blowing hard from over my right shoulder so the owl took off into the wind and partially facing me.
Image created on January 6, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario and cropped for composition.
This is a repost of a shot. The previous image that is still on my timeline is over processed due to my lack of experience at the time. I like this image a lot better. I just made some minor adjustments to this image.
Shot for Active Assignment Weekly, theme "Off-center".
WIT
It is november but already the buds are visible on the shrubs in my garden. And it has been raining all week. Such nice combination.
I also further tried the new mask functionality in Lightroom Classic. It is really amazing how easy it is to select the subject and process background and subject separately. I do notice however some chromatic aberration top left, at the lower part of the stem (purple), the upper part of the stem (green) and the top part of the drop (green). No idea how to remove that....
This Gator was sunning itself on a log in the Florida Everglades and took off in a huff as soon as we got close.

Off work today and not too much to do so just taking it easy.
A short walk earlier -this is the little wood just a field away from my house.
This is the ramp leading from westbound I-90 to southbound I-405 in Bellevue, WA - full rush hour, and I’m not moving an inch. Figured I might as well get some pics, the clouds were kind of cool.
Just for the hell of it, I knew I would be passing Amtrak 304 on my way home from Bloomington, so I decided to track it via my Amtrak app. Just as I got past Elkhart, I noticed this stellar lashup on MBNAS-09. I knew it had to be waiting in the siding for 304, which hauled by my truck a few seconds later. After one spot in Williamsville being a no-go due to the recent fence work by UP, I settled on this shot, which still features the fence, on the southern edge of town. With a neat horn show, the train takes off at a steady pace bound for the Alton & Southern yard in East St. Louis.
