There was a fair number of these flowers on a plant in one of the beds. They seemed quite unusual to me because of the colour of the petals. It looked more like staining and less like it had grown that way. Odd.
IHTSW?! Odd One Out
Here is a shot of my garden in the morning before the sun hits it. I'm very excited about my tiger lily which bloomed for me again this year. Roses are on the left, and ditch daisies and harebells (Scottish Bluebells) which I also dug out of a ditch and transplanted in my gardens.

We have a a bunch of these trees growing in shady areas of our yard and have been unable to identify if they are indeed a tree or a weed. One of them has grown to over 15' tall. Notice that these leaves are from the same branch, which seems very odd to us.
