Ok, another odd visitor to Bombay Hook today. Actually, it could be quite common, this will be my first spring visiting the park. Anyone know what species this is?

Just for a bit of fun this one, used the bricks of my house as the background to mimic the haphazard stacking of the books and combined three RAW shots to get the exposure and colour I wanted.
We went to the Atlanta Zoo with Shawn and Katie. The first animals we saw were very odd looking, as you can tell.
...which spins in the air, and, on the hour, sings I'm forever blowing bubbles, while blowing bubbles. Of course.
There was a fair number of these flowers on a plant in one of the beds. They seemed quite unusual to me because of the colour of the petals. It looked more like staining and less like it had grown that way. Odd.

IHTSW?! Odd One Out
Here is a shot of my garden in the morning before the sun hits it. I'm very excited about my tiger lily which bloomed for me again this year. Roses are on the left, and ditch daisies and harebells (Scottish Bluebells) which I also dug out of a ditch and transplanted in my gardens.
