I had all these odd beads from my sporatic torch times lately so I decided to put them in sort of an odd lot bracelet... I kinda like how it turned out

Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) started in North America in 1819 and was quite active in pioneer communities of Michigan in from 1870 to 1910. The symbol of the Odd Fellows in the 3 chain links and F-L-T (Friendship, Love, Truth).

From across the pond, I noticed this Heron sitting in an odd pose. I thought to myself, he's either in trouble or just having a peculiar rest. When he picked up his head I relaxed, thinking "oh, he's fine". Then he threw his head back and at that point, I thought I should cross the pond somehow and help him out, because he definitely wasn't in good shape. In an instant he submerged his head in the water and I watched horrified as I knew he was going to drown. He lunged forward at the end and completely submerged his head and then it was over - in the blink of an eye, he was gone. I watched sadly as the wind gently pushed his body towards the reeds, his gorgeous feathers ruffling for the last time.
Ixchel being nice to Yaxche. Tiki's Chula, Yaxche and Ixchel are all conures. Chula is the youngest and a green cheeked conure; Yaxche is a Jenday conure, and Ixchel is a Nanday conure. Tiki's Youtube page is at www.youtube.com/user/Tikibirdmom
