Ozzy was sleeping in this odd sleeping position. It was even funnier when I was sitting in the chair with him. His eyes were closed, his face was pointing up, and his teeth were showing more. His eyes are opened here, but he is asleep. LOL!

No bird in this one...just a northern spotted owl, I think, although they are only supposed to be in California and the Pacific Northwest.

I happened to bring my camera with me on our walk in the woods this morning, and this owl was being antagonized by this bird. He would fly from tree to tree, and the bird would not leave him alone and kept flying into him and pecking at him, and he just sat there. I thought it was so bizarre until I finally figured out that the bird must be a mommy or daddy bird and must have a nest nearby. I also thought it was strange that he was out during the day. My dad loves bird watching, too, but that's one of the interests that I don't necessarily share a passion for with him. When I called him to wish him a happy father's day and told him about this, he asked if it was a mocking bird...if it was gray with white stripes. I said, "Yeah, how did you know?!"
the sky was absolutely weird that day, there was this dark fringe of clouds in the top, and you could see the sunny sky underneath it.

I was working in a bike shop when these hit the market, figured it was a way to have horizontal dropouts, then the lawyers decided that the brakes "could" hit the tires if you didn't pull them back to the same place every time. This was also at the beginning of the fork tip lawyer lips, which were ground off on this rebuild, natch.
