So alike...
Both are friendly... friendly... ever so friendly, with happy dispositions and a deep-seated inability to hold a grudge - or even contemplate one.
... and yet so different...
Zachary (top hat) is smart, easy to teach, and quick to learn. He desperately wants to please. He's not fond of hugging, but loves snuggle close on his own terms.
Henry (t-shirt) is sweet, calm, and deliberate. You can't hug, pet, or cuddle this pup too much (we've tried!) He's too laid-back to enjoy extended training, although his deliberate nature and dislike of excess effort gives him a surprising paw up on Zachary when it comes to problem solving.

On the way to Patriarch Grove, one can't miss an almost surreal marbleized dolomite moonscape with a several acres of long dead Bristlecones. These two up on a ridge are accompanied White Mountain Buckwheat nestled in the dolomite.
It's a bit odd to see proper fenced gates in the middle of bush borders.

Fountain in Madison, IN (USA) dontated by the Odd Fellows.
"The fountain, originally cast iron, was presented, in 1876, to the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition by the Republic of France. It was then purchased by the Indiana Order of Odd Fellows and presented to Madison. It was returned to its original condition--but recast in bronze-- during the latter 1970's and re-dedicated in the summer of 1980."
This isn't my photo, but the friend who took it will probably never sign on here and I figured it needed to be shared with the world.
This is Crackhead and Swee' Pea enjoying a nap. I thought the bachelor pad lighting added a nice touch of warmth and visual interest to this photo.

BANGUINGUI, SULU, PHILIPPINES - In line with the general purposes of Odd Fellowship to spread Friendship, Love and Truth, five volunteers of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) helped with the "All-in-One Mission" organized by the Philippine Marines MBLT-1 and the Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace On June 21-24, 2018. The mission consisted of several philanthropic activities aimed at providing services to the residents of Banguingui, Sulu: Football for Peace, Feeding Program, Medical Mission, School Supplies Donation, Dancing and Singing, Magic Tricks and Jokes with the Children.
The Odd Fellows distributed 200 packs of school supplies and 100 snacks for the children. One Odd Fellow nurse assisted in the medical mission. Others performed magic tricks and jokes which brought smiles to children. The overall goal of the outreach program is to help remove the stigma towards Sulu and to help promote peace in the area especially between Christians and Muslims. The project coincide with the goal of Odd Fellows to help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other in times of need and by volunteering in or organizing charitable activities and projects that would benefit the less fortunate, the children, the youth, the elderly, the community and the environment in every way possible guided by our ancient command: “to visit the sick, relieve the distress, bury the dead and educate the orphan”. And to promote goodwill and understanding among people and nations through the principle of universal fraternity, holding the belief that all men and women regardless of race, nationality, religion, social status, gender, rank and station are brothers and sisters.

I took this photo of this beautiful house one morning as I was exploring the area near my hotel. Later, when I look at this on my computer and noticed something odd about this house: there is no railing on the second floor balcony! As you notice there are table and chairs set up it seems rather unsafe it might never passed the city inspection in Toronto.
There are three couples in this shot: one on the left, one on the right, and one -- made of sand -- in the middle. Which leaves the sand sculptor the odd man out. At the 2007 New England Sand Sculpting Festival on Revere Beach.
