Some of Mother Nature's best work...a flower
Lighting: A single Westcott FJ400 strobe at full power with 26" octabox and a one stop diffuser attached. The strobe was centered and above the front of the subject pointing down at 45 degrees.

Couple of shots from a photoshoot I did with Bishop Peter Comensoli in Watsons Bay, Sydney Australia. Always a tough shoot when photographing outdoors at around 11am (with overhead light) in tight backgrounds.

- Main light : Godox QT600II on the right side through an octabox 90 cm.
- Rim light on the left side, behind models : Godox AD200 + small octabox.
- On the left side : white panel.
- Background light : Godox AD200.

Godox AD200 in a Glow parapop octabox, Godox Pro trigger. Light was set to camera left a bit more than 45degrees and slightly above eye level.

Strobist and technical: One Phottix Pro Indra500 monolight on a Profoto light stand in backlit Rembrandt position to camera left, 2.5 meters from subject and 1.3 meters above it, firing at ¼ power through a Phottix Pro 150ācm Raja Deep parabolic softbox with double diffuser; and another Indra500 studio strobe on a Profoto tabletop light stand in lateral (slightly backlit) position to camera right, 1.5 meters from subject and at about the same height, firing at 1/8 power through a Phottix Pro 110ācm Luna octabox with double diffuser. White card backdrop.
Strobes set and triggered via Phottix Pro Odin II radio controller on the Nikon Z7 hot shoe, manual mode. Sekonic Lā858D light meter used to balance light sources. Gitzo GT3543 XLS tripod with ArcaāSwiss Cube C1 geared head. Nikon Z7 camera body, Laowa 105mm f/2.8 2Ć Ultra Macro Apo lens, manual focus.

Just a 90cm octabox with grid cam left slightly above my head. I used the Jinbei Porty 500 and the YN-622C to trigger it.
A while back while shooting at Linda Vista Hospital I was able to hook up with with photographer Lauren Randolph. I had a random idea for a shot and oddly enough she was into it too. Her expressions totally made these shots. Jump over to the blog for the lighting diagram and couple shot.

No photoshop manipulation. I tinkered it all by my self. The eye comes out of a magazine and I glued it from the inside of tthe egg. I also glued the Barbielegs to the egg.
