I guess I'm allowed to put these up now.
MCMB did an interview for HM magazine (which is out now in issue #143), and I was requested to come out and shoot photos for the magazine and for the upcoming release of their new album "Lost Boy." Zach and I drove about 3 hours through the rain from San Diego to a little venue in Camarillo (at least I was actually paid by Solid State this time). Long day, fun hang outs, lots of rain, lots of m3t4l.

I've always been using this dropbox alternative. I actually like it better. You get free 20GB
From my Autumn themed shoot with the lovely Neva Moria.
I think I need to stop doing 3 hour long shoots. I end up with far too many pictures from the same session. But I like thee hour shoots. Because I can get a lot of shots from the same session. And when I'm playing I don't want to stop.
What I'm loving about this shoot though is not the great model (she's awesome). It's not the 500w strobe in huge soft box (it rocks). It's not the full frame camera with 50 and 85mm prime lenses (which I love). Na, it's the PC that I'm using for post processing. Way cheaper than a top of the range Mac, it's got more RAM than I can use, two solid state hard drives and a decent multicore processor. What used to take time and effort in Photoshop now happens effortlessly which free's me up to experiment and have fun. I'm far from the finished project. Hell I don't think I could be further. But I'm enjoying the journey and maybe one day I'll get there.
If you like my work, please take a look at my Facebook page and my website.

For the record: This isn't intended to be a "band" photo; just something I wanted to shoot of Matthew.
MCMB recently did an interview for HM magazine, and I was requested to come out and shoot the cover photo. Drove about 3 hours from San Diego to a little venue in Camarillo. I was very excited to be with these boys again and incredibly stoked to do my first cover! :D Overall, it was a ridiculously long day of rain, good hang outs, metal, and picture-taking. Keep an eye out for the cover soon!
Thanks to Zach for keeping me grounded and helping me with absolutely everything, and for being the best friend I could ever ask for!

From a recent shoot with Adeline.
____________
