Photos: Peter Taylor. The top photo shows Trumpeter Swans on April 11th 2010 near Pinawa while the bottom photo shows Trumpeter Swans in the same location on the same day in 2009 - what a comparison! The role of the Observers at the Royal Greenwich Observatory was only for the most dedicated. Often fraught with difficulties, particularly the unpredictable weather.
