Round Stingray and other fish have been observed in this tidal channel on the north side of the Ballona Wetlands fed by the Marina. The conifer here is often occupied by Black-crown night Herons and the occasional Green Heron. Snowy Egrets also forage sometimes in this tidal channel. This body of water is often reffered to as the "Marina Ditch" but a few of us will affectionally call it "Yellowthroat Creek" as the little wood warbler, the Common Yellowthroat (Geothlypis trichas), can be found here in the Saltbush along the banks.

Observed at dusk heading for my campsite in the Colorado desert of California. This is probably the common Tarantula of Desert California (Aphonopelma steindachneri) but confirmation from an expert would be greatly appreciated. Not usually seen until dark, this was an exciting find. Tarantulas have 8 eyes. This specimen was about 5 to 6 inches long. Aphonopelma tarantulas play a pivotal role in the ecological balance. As both predator and prey, they contribute to the regulation of insect populations and serve as a food source for higher predators. Their burrowing behavior also aids in soil aeration and nutrient cycling, benefiting plant communities. Reference spideridentifications.com/aphonopelma.html

Shots of Warholian's studio visit with Mario Wagner.
From Gallery Heist's blog on Mario:
Imbued with a sense of cinematic intrigue and sci-fi fantasy that speaks to the era from which he draws reference, Wagner’s pieces depict a time when futuristic fascination was widespread, space travel was imminent, and the possibilities of technology were limitless.
"Observed by Clouds" will present a collection of work exploring some of the darker and more illusive narratives that have been steadily evolving in Wagner’s artistic oeuvre. As Wagner puts it, these new works "feel like the next step in a line." Dreamlike scenarios of morose pallbearers assembled in funeral formation, masked marauders on horseback full of hidden agendas, and watchful strangers with questionable intentions lurking in shadows point to mysteries that border on the eerie, begging at the viewer’s imagination and inviting him to contemplate the origins of the story’s beginning and its probable end.
More about the artist:
Steve Gent and I observed an juvenile Snowy Owl sitting in a ditch alongside a road, flushed it as we drove up the road and it flew to the top a power pole in central Illinois during early February, 2025. Pictures taken with a 500mm lens using the car as a blind, a safe distance away from the owl.
On July,27th,2018,Anna and I,we observed the lunar eclipse here in my hometown Stuttgart (Germany). But we were disappointed about the weak light of the moon.A highlight was the overflight of the ISS (International Space Station).
I took some pics with my small camera and made a few video clips and from this material,I made the short video-clip above.

Evening Grosbeak was observed feeding at feeders outside the Severson Dells Nature Center in Winnebago County, Illinois during fall migration 2020. A finch irruption year is in progress and the EVGR is a new state bird for me, #334.

estoy dispuesto a atravesar

Observed(o) @ ELMUR-Lleida
Throughout the month of October and in different locations of the city of Lleida (ES), photographer Jordi V. Pou has presented Observed(o), an artistic intervention created from a collection of 1500 photographs of eyes downloaded from Instagram social network.
Observed(o), held in cooperation with various organizations of the city such as the Museum of Art Jaume Morera, the IEI, Art Center La Panera, Lleida University and the Ferreruela Sanfeliu Foundation among others, has been implemented through various actions: flags on balconies, press inserts, paper prints, banners and actions in public meetings. Specifically, the facade of the FFS, in the space usually used by ELMUR.NET, presented the creative video "Loop”. "We are all observers, we are all obseved" is the central theme of Observed(o).

Oxbow Bend was my favorite spot in Grand Teton - it offers a great view of the mountain range together with the river in the front. As a bonus, we spotted moose twice at that spot and had a chance to observe them for a while from a rather short distance.

Observed during our visit to London, England, United Kingdom in June 2016. A memorable city, highly recommended.
No matter who or where you are you can always stop for a second, forget about yourself and all that is you, and appreciate all the "invisible" things around you. You'd be amazed what you might find.
Alright, so the idea behind this is basically to showoff my campus a little... Not really. But I wanted to show that no matter what or who you are, you can appreciate simple things in your everyday life that normally are being overlooked.
In this particular image the bird stands for 'everyone' and my campus for the 'everyday life around you' if it's work or school.
So as I said this is an image of my college campus. My school is a second year winner of "most beautiful campus" in the U.S according to The Princeton Review. The architecture and layout of the college is just fantastic. Here is one of many spots that makes this campus the best.
Thank you for watching!
See it on black!!
